WRVO Public Media is a non-profit public radio station in Oswego, New York licensed to the State University of New York at Oswego,[1] it operates from studios in the Penfield Library on the SUNY Oswego campus. It's multi-station network serves more than 15 counties in central and northern New York from transmitters in Clayton, Oswego, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown. Low-power translators serve Geneva, Hamilton, Norwich and North Watertown.

WRVO programming includes regional news and public affairs and programming from NPR, American Public Media, Public Radio International, the BBC World Service, Radio Netherlands Worldwide, Deutsche Welle and other networks. [2] WRVO currently broadcasts Morning Edition, The Diane Rehm Show, Fresh Air, Tell Me More, Talk of the Nation, All Things Considered, As It Happens, The Capitol Pressroom and Tuned to Yesterday during the weekdays. On the weekend, WRVO broadcasts The State We're In, Marketplace Money, Only A Game, Weekend Edition, Car Talk, Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!, Says You!, This American Life, Snap-Judgment, On The Media, The Campbell Conversations, New York Now, All Things Considered, A Prairie Home Companion, Selected Shorts, The Changing World, Inside Europe, Prime Time Radio, Studio 360, The Splendid Table, Public Radio Presents, Sound Opinions, Sound Medicine, Big Picture Science and Earth Beat. From 9:00 pm to midnight Tuesday through Sunday, WRVO broadcasts Tuned to Yesterday, which consists of radio dramas from the 1930s onward.[3] BirdNote, a two-minute show about the lives of birds, airs on weekdays at 9:58 am.
