WMAK, channel 7, is a digital television station serving the Knoxville, Tennessee area. WMAK signed on July 31, 2004, making it one of the few stations in the US to sign on exclusively as a digital station, with no full-powered analog counterpart. WMAK also has two low-powered, Class-A analog repeaters in the Knoxville area: WEZK-LP, channel 28, in Knoxville, and WJZC-LP, channel 22, in Sevierville.

WMAK is owned by Word of God Fellowship, the parent organization of the Daystar Television Network. Prior to July 14, 2009, the station was owned by Knoxville Channel 7, LLC, a division of South Central Communications (which also owns radio stations in Knoxville, and formerly owned the neighboring WVLT-TV (Channel 8).

As an independent television station, WMAK aired syndicated programs like Sex and the City, Extra, The People's Court, Judge Mathis and I Love Lucy as well as recent and classic motion pictures.

On September 8, 2008, the station added programming from the Retro Television Network,[1] which now comprises the station's full schedule.

It was announced in early 2009 that Dallas, Texas-based religious broadcaster Daystar Television Network would buy WMAK for $2 million. [2][3] The deal was completed on July 14, 2009. Although it was expected that WMAK's main channel would switch to Daystar programming at that time, WMAK retained its RTV affiliation until mid-2012, when it finally switched over to the Daystar Network.
