History [link]

WGNI was a Top 40 station in the days when the format was heard on AM radio.

Prior to 1990, WBMS was one of the first urban contemporary radio stations in Wilmington.[1]

In May 1996, Community Broadcasting sold WBMS, WMFD and WUOY radio stations to a new company called Ocean Broadcasting. WBMS, a CNN Headline News station, became WAHH, airing the "Radio AAHS" format for children, as well as some local content. The format included news, sports and games as well as music by James Taylor, Mariah Carey, The Muppets, Ren and Stimpy, Gloria Estefan, Animaniacs, Craig and Company, Smoking Armadillos, Fun Factory and Better Than Ezra.[2]

WLSG, WWIL-AM and WWIL-FM were part of Family Radio Group of Wilmington in 2000 when that company purchased WDVV and WMYT.[3]

Tell Me

by: Lasgo

I heard she broke your heart
And you're too blind to see
How foolish that you are
Instead of her, you could have me
And maybe I'm a fool
But I keep waiting for you
I hope that you will see
What you mean to me
So, tell me baby
How can I change your mind?
To leave that girl behind
Or am I wasting time?
So, tell me baby
How can I change your mind?
To leave that girl behind
Or am I wasting time?
So, tell me baby
I heard she broke your heart
And you're too blind to see
How foolish that you are
Instead of her, you could have me
And maybe I'm a fool
And maybe I'm a fool
But I keep waiting for you
I hope that you will see
What you mean to me
So, tell me baby
How can I change your mind?
To leave that girl behind
Or am I wasting time?
So, tell me baby
How can I change your mind?
To leave that girl behind
Or am I wasting time?
