WJXA (92.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary format. Licensed to Nashville, Tennessee, USA, the station serves the Nashville, Bowling Green, Clarksville-Hopkinsville area. The station is currently owned by South Central Communications Corporation.[2]
The station went on the air in the 1970s as the easy-listening WZEZ. The station has, for a number of years now, adhered to a "light rock" (or adult contemporary) format aimed primarily at female listeners.[citation needed] It features a mixture of current hits with some tracks from fairly recent years.
Mix 92.9 used all of their own jingle packages from Reelworld and has now moved on to Reelworld ONE AC with their WJXA logo.
