WCTQ (106.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Sarasota, Florida, USA, it serves the Sarasota / Bradenton area. The station is currently owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.
WCTQ's transmitter is located near the intersection of 33rd Street W and 8th Avenue W in Memphis, south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, giving the station city-grade coverage not only to the Sarasota-Bradenton area, but also to the Tampa Bay area as well, as far north as Tampa and Largo. The station's coverage area extends north towards Lakeland and Pasco County, but faces interference from first-adjacents WGHR 106.3 Spring Hill and WXXL 106.7 Tavares (WCTQ's sister station).
