Voyage is the first EP by American metalcore band, In Fear and Faith. It was independently produced and released by the band themselves on December 18, 2007.

Background information

Voyage is the only release by In Fear and Faith to feature vocalist, Tyler "Telle" Smith before his departure from the group within the following year. 2008 also marks the year that the band were signed to Rise Records after their attention caught onto Voyage. Its rhythmical melodies and harsh parts impressed the label. The two songs "Live Love Die" and "The Taste of Regret" were re-recorded for their debut full-length, Your World on Fire, which was released in 2009.

The EP was released on a rare independent pressing on CD, but was widely distributed on iTunes where it received over 30,000 song purchases by the end of 2008.

Pathé

Pathé or Pathé Frères (French pronunciation: ​[pate fʁɛʁ], styled as PATHÉ!) is the name of various French businesses that were founded and originally run by the Pathé Brothers of France starting in 1896. In the early 1900s, Pathé became the world's largest film equipment and production company, as well as a major producer of phonograph records. In 1908, Pathé invented the newsreel that was shown in cinemas prior to a feature film.

Today, Pathé is a major film production and distribution company, owns a great number of cinema chains, across Europe but mainly in France, including 66% of the Les Cinémas Gaumont Pathé a joint venture between Pathé and the Gaumont Film Company, and several television networks across Europe. It is the second oldest still-operating film company in the world, predating Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures, second only to the French Gaumont Film Company studio.

Carlos (miniseries)

Carlos is a 2010 French-German television and cinema biographical film about the life of the 1970s Venezuelan revolutionary Carlos the Jackal (Ilich Ramírez Sánchez), covering his first series of attacks in 1973 until his arrest in 1994. It premiered as a three-part TV mini-series on French pay channel Canal+, with the three parts airing on 19 May, May 26, and June 2, 2010. On the same day it premiered on Canal+, the full 5½ hour version was also shown out of competition at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

Produced by Daniel Leconte, of French production company Film En Stock, and Jens Meuer, of German production company Egoli Tossell Film, in association with Canal+ and French Arte, it was directed by Olivier Assayas from a screenplay by Leconte, Assayas and Dan Franck, and stars Édgar Ramírez as Carlos. The film exists both as a three-part mini-series and a feature film of various lengths between 338 and 319 minutes, as well as in several abridged versions, ranging from 187 minutes (German cinema version) to 166 minutes (US video on demand version).

Carlos (DJ)

Carl Emms (born 31 December 1966, Swindon Wiltshire), known professionally as Carlos is a British radio presenter and disc jockey. The only child of Vernon and Elsie Emms, he spent his childhood and teenage years living in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Early career

His broadcasting career began at 15 on Wiltshire Radio whilst still at school, presenting an early morning show. In November 1983 he was a guest on Russell Harty's TV chat show as the youngest radio presenter in the country. In October 1985, when WR merged with Bristol's Radio West to form GWR, Carl presented the first day of test transmissions from Bristol's Watershed.

In 1987 he joined Signal Radio in Stoke-on-Trent, where he presented the Drivetime show, still under his real name, where his vocal style was compared by many to that of the already successful BBC Radio 2 DJ Steve Wright. He went on to appear on Cardiff's Red Dragon FM, followed by a stint at the Chiltern Radio Network where he presented the late night 10pm-2am show. After this he moved to their breakfast show. When this programme was split from being networked over all three Chiltern Radio Network stations, to local shows, he continued with the Northants 96 Breakfast show, known as Carl Emms and The Breakfast Bunch, which he presented for 4 years. In 1991 he appeared in a pantomime production of Aladdin in Northampton alongside Barbara Windsor. For a brief spell before leaving Northants 96 he presented drive time.
