Volvo F10, F12, and F16 are a series of trucks manufactured by Volvo Trucks between 1977 and 1993. The F10 and F12 were launched in 1977, with many innovative features for its time, most notably a safety cab with high level of ergonomics for the driver. The F16 was launched in 1987 and was more powerful. Volvo manufactured about 200,000 trucks in the series between 1977 and 1993.
The basic chassis components and also the driveline components of the trucks when launched in 1977 were to a large extent based on the ones introduced in 1973 for the Volvo N-series trucks. The numbering on these models tells the engine displacement in litres. Various power outputs were offered, and the engines have gone through several modifications through the years. All engines were straight 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines of Volvo's own make.
The series got two major upgrades during its production. The first one in 1983, which included major changes to the cabin, (larger windscreen and heightened roof) a new chassis with decreased weight and parabolic springs, and the spacious "Globetrotter" cabin was offered as an option. The engines also got an upgrade, but the power output was unchanged.
F16, F 16, F-16 or FI6 may refer to:
FI6 is an antibody that targets a protein found on the surface of all influenza A viruses called hemagglutinin. FI6 is the only known antibody found to bind all 16 subtypes of the influenza A virus hemagglutinin and is hoped to be useful for a universal influenza virus therapy.
The antibody binds to the F domain HA trimer, and prevents the virus from attaching to the host cell. The antibody has been refined in order to remove any excess, unstable mutations that could negatively affect its neutralising ability, and this new version of the antibody has been termed "FI6v3"
Researchers from Britain and Switzerland have found antibodies that work in Group 1 influenza A viruses or against most Group 2 viruses, but not against both.
This team developed a method using single-cell screening to test very large numbers of human plasma cells, to increase their odds of finding an antibody even if it was extremely rare. When they identified FI6, they injected it into mice and ferrets and found that it protected the animals against infection by either a Group 1 or Group 2 influenza A virus.
Skitszo is the debut studio album by American singer-rapper Colette Carr, which was released as a whole on July 9, 2013 through Interscope. The album consists of four digital EPs, each featuring four songs, released two months apart. The full album includes all the songs from the EPs, plus four new ones.
Produced by Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, Frankmusik and other big names, the album features collaborations with YG, Far East Movement's Kev Nish, E-40 and Porcelain Black. Billboard noted the album's genre as a mixture of sing-speak rapping and pop music refrains. Carr was inspired to craft Skitszo after being exposed to works by artists such as the Spice Girls, Talking Heads, and Eminem among others.
Carr originally announced that her album would be released in November 2011. Carr released her first promotional single, "Back It Up" in 2009, which gained her the attention of Nick Cannon. She then released her mixtape, Sex Sells Stay Tooned with the help of his label, NCredible, along with his production on tracks. It was highly successful to Carr's standards, gaining 29,000 downloads in four days.
