2010 MTV Video Music Brazil
The 2010 MTV Video Music Brazil, known as VMB 2010 in Brazil, was held on September 16, 2010, hosted by Marcelo Adnet and took place at the Credicard Hall, São Paulo. It awarded the best in Brazilian music, popular culture and internet culture in the year of 2010. The most notable moments in the show were the 5 awards received by pop band Restart, including for Best New Act and Act of the Year, this last sounded by boos from the audience. There was also a live performance by American alternative rock band OK Go, the appearance of electropop duo 3OH!3, Mexican singer Christian Chávez and Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme, among many Brazilian personalities.

2012 MTV Video Music Brazil
The 2012 MTV Video Music Brazil, known as VMB 2012 in Brazil, was held on September 20, 2012, and yook place at the Espaço das Américas, São Paulo. It awarded the best in Brazilian music and popular culture in the year of 2012.
With the Street Culture as the awards theme, the VMB 2012 overcame the previous edition as the greatest VMB ever. The event had an audience of 4000 people, and it was 4 hours long, 1 hour for the pre-show, 2 for the main show, and 1 for after-show, like the previous editions. As the 2011 Video Music Awards, the awards, for the first time, didn't have a host.
For this edition, some concepts of the previous edition was maintained. It was continue to emphasize the alternative scenario of Brazilian music, but, this time, the popular one gained more space. Some popular artists returned to be indicated, like the happy rock band Restart, winner of 5 categories in 2010.
The voting was also reformulated. New categories were created: Best Band, Best Female and Best Male Act. The public has regained emphasis and chose the finalists in each category until September 3. From there, the VMB academy chose the winners. The exceptions were the categories Hit of the Year and International Artist, which were exclusively by popular vote.
VMFA-232
Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232 (VMFA-232) is a United States Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet squadron. Nicknamed the "Red Devils", the squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California and fall under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 11 (MAG-11) and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW). The Red Devils are one of the oldest and most decorated fighter squadrons in the Marine Corps.
History
The early years
VMFA-232 can trace its lineage back to VF-3M, which was commissioned on September 1, 1925, at Naval Air Station San Diego, California. Originally equipped with Vought VE-7s, the squadron received three of the new Boeing FB-1s in the first part of 1926, allowing them to operate one division of modern aircraft while retaining the older VE-7s for training purposes. With the civil war in China threatening American interests, it was decided to deploy U.S. forces and in November and December 1926, seven additional FB-1s were transferred to VF-3M from VF-1M and VF-2M on the east coast, bringing the squadron's complement to 10 FB-1s. As diplomacy and planning was taking place on the international level, the squadron concentrated on familiarizing itself with their new aircraft and training the influx of new pilots.
