Anthony (film editor)

Anthony (born Llewellyn Anthony Gonsalves on 11 September 1973 in Chennai, India) is a Tamil film editor. He has worked in over twenty Tamil, Malayalam,Kannada and Telugu language films. This makes him one of the few editors to have worked for the four biggest film industries in India.

Career

Anthony studied a degree in Literature at Madras Christian College, Tambaram, but found himself unsure of a career path once he has finished his education. Following suggestions from his friends, he began learning about animation at Prasad Studio and subsequently also enrolled to learn about editing. He thereafter, received offers to work on corporate ads, trailers and documentaries from 1993 for Edit Point and continued to work in the same practice til 2004, often collaborating with leading ad film makers like Rajiv Menon. He then began to work on editing songs in films occasionally, also gaining experience by editing tele-films. Director Gautham Menon asked Anthony to edit the song "Ennai Konjam" in Kaakha Kaakha for the audio release event of that film, and impressed with his work for that song and he asked him to sign on as the film's editor. He has since associated with the biggest technicians in South Indian cinema, collaborating regularly with directors including Shankar, AR Murugadoss, Gautham Menon, Linguswamy, K. V. Anand and A. L. Vijay.

Anthony (given name)

Anthony or Antony is a masculine given name, derived from Anton, a gens (Roman family name) to which Mark Antony (Marcus Antonius) belonged. That name seems to have come originally from the Arameic, although nothing further is known about this derivation. There was an ancient tradition that the Antonii gens were Heracleidae, being descendants of Anton, a son of Heracles. (Plut. Ant. 4)

"Anthony" is equivalent to Antoine in French; Antonio in Italian and Spanish; António or Antônio in Portuguese; Anton in Dutch, Galician, German, Icelandic, Romanian, Russian, and Scandinavian languages; Antal in Hungarian; and Antun or Ante in Croatian. The usual abbreviated form is Tony (sometimes "Tone" or "Ant" or "Anth"). Its use as a Christian name was due to the veneration of St Anthony the Great, the founder of Christian monasticism, particularly in France. Also significant was the later cult of St Antony of Padua. The spelling with "h" is not found until the 16th century when William Camden incorrectly claimed that the name derived from the Greek ἄνθος (anthos, flower or possibly a small yellow bird such as a wagtail). The spelling pronunciation later became usual in the United States but not in the British Isles.

Debil

Debil ("Moronic") is the first full-length studio album by Die Ärzte, released in 1984, following the EPs Zu schön, um wahr zu sein! and Uns geht's prima.... The songs "Paul" and "Zu spät" were released as singles, without being successful initially. However, a live version of "Zu spät" was released as a single from the live album Nach uns die Sintflut in 1989 and became a moderate hit in Germany.

In 1987, the Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien (Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons) put the songs "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" and "Schlaflied" on the List of Media Harmful to Young People, with the effect that they could not be sold to minors, nor publicly advertised or displayed. This ban was lifted in 2004, which led to the subsequent reissue of the album (see below).

Paul, Cornwall

Paul (Cornish: Breweni) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the civil parish of Penzance. The village is two miles (3 km) south of Penzance and one mile (1.6 km) south of Newlyn.

The village of Paul should not be confused with the civil parish of Paul, which lies west of the village and does not include the village of Paul.

Like many Cornish communities Paul has its own community celebration. Paul Feast is held on the Sunday nearest 10 October every year when the village is decorated and a civic service takes place on the Sunday of the feast itself led by the Mayor of Penzance.

History

Much of the history of Paul is connected with its parish church. The church itself is said to have been founded in 490, a very uncertain date and not documented, by Paul Aurelian, a Welsh saint known in Brittany as Paol Aurelian in Breton. There is no historical evidence to support his ever coming to West Penwith. He was founder of the cathedral at Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the city named after him. However this church could have been dedicated to Paul the Apostle, or Paulinus of York, there is no documentary evidence to prove any of these three Saint Pauls was the original dedicatee of the church. It was only named 'St. Pol-de-Leon' in 1907 and is probably connected with Henry Jenner who (with W C Borlase) opposed alleged 'Englishness' and stamp consistent spelling of Cornish place names on OS maps.

Paul Meletiou

Paul (secular name Trofim Meletiou, 2 November (November 15) 1880, Arkhangelsk - May 19, 1962, Brussels) - Bishop of the Catholic Church. Prior to 1946 - Bishop Roslavl, vicar of the diocese of Smolensk Belarusian Orthodox Church (to the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church).

Education

Born into the family deacon. He graduated from the seminary Arkhangelsk, Arkhangelsk Theological Seminary (1903). Later, he recalled this period in his life:

"Every year, I spent a vacation in the monastery. There I lived in an atmosphere of prayer and penance. This austere life of the monks are very attracted to me, and every year I gladly returned to it. This opportunity to live among them, those days spent with them in a monastery and a prayer, it was for me a source of great happiness."

Service in the North

Since 1903, he was a novice in the Holy Transfiguration Monastery Solovetsky, there was tonsured. From 1908 - ierodiakon from 1910 - Fr. Exam for teacher training courses at St. Petersburg School District. Since 1916 - Superior, was a missionary diocese in the Far North. He recalled that:

Definition and structure

A vision statement is a company's road map, indicating both what the company wants to become and guiding transformational initiatives by setting a defined direction for the company's growth. Vision statements undergo minimal revisions during the life of a business, unlike operational goals which may be updated from year-to-year. Vision (game engine)

Vision is a multi-platform 3D game engine that was first launched in 2003 by the Germany-based middleware developer, Trinigy. Now in its eighth version, the Vision Engine is currently available for Microsoft Windows (DX9, DX10, DX11), Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, iOS, Android, Sony's PlayStation Vita, and most major browsers (IE6 and up, Firefox 2.0 and up, Google Chrome, Opera 9 and up).

Trinigy and its Vision Engine was acquired by Havok in 2011.
