Wayne is a commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at North Wayne Avenue & West Avenue in Wayne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains.
The Wayne station was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1882 to 1884, on a design by Washington Bleddyn Powell. The original builder was William H. Bilyeu. It consists of two Victorian buildings flanking the rail lines and connected by an underground tunnel. The station building was restored from 1998 to 2010 with significant local community support and funding. The year after this restoration project began, the station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The scope of this restoration included repair or replacement of the chimney, masonry, windows, doors, and the retaining wall.
SEPTA began a $22.7 million second phase of improvements that included roof replacement, repairs to the masonry and structural members, and other upgrades to the station building. The outbound shelter, dating from about 1890, was disassembled and completely rebuilt, mostly with new materials. In addition, ADA-mandated improvements including new high-level platforms, stairs and ramps to the platforms, building modifications, lighting, handrails, and signage was installed. The new platforms, on both the inbound and outbound sides east of the station building, meant that trains no longer stop in front of the station itself, except in special cases.
Viper (September 12, 1959 – December 24, 2010) was the stage name of Stephanie Patricia Green, an American pornographic actress, known for a prominent full body snake tattoo, for co-founding Fans of X-Rated Entertainment with Bill Margold, and for her disappearance in 1991.
Green was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, but raised in rural New Hampshire. She was interested in theater and ballet while growing up, first dancing with the New Hampshire Ballet Company from 1968 to 1976, then one season with the American Ballet Theatre in New York City after graduating high school. In 1978, after being kept on the back lines of the ballet, Green joined the United States Marine Corps, where she served at Camp Lejeune, rising to the rank of corporal. After six years, Green was expelled from the Corps for fraternizing with her superior officers, and worked a year in Baltimore as a prostitute and an entertainer at "The Block" nightclub. She got her trademark tattoo from tattoo artist and street gang member Harry Von Groff in Philadelphia, described as "...a snake poised to strike her left nipple, that morphs into a tiger composed of interlaced skulls across her belly, and finally reanimates as a snake snapping at her clitoris."
The characters of the Reborn! manga and anime series, known in Japan as Katekyō Hitman Reborn!, are created by Akira Amano. Set in a fictional town called Namimori in modern Japan, the series' main protagonists are of Japanese descent. However, their connection to an Italian Mafia family results in a majority of other characters introduced being mainly of Italian descent, including most of its antagonists.
The story centers on middle school student Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who finds out that he is the heir to the most powerful Mafia family, the Vongola. The current Vongola boss thus sends his most trusted member, the titular character and infant hitman, Reborn, to train the future boss. Tsuna gradually becomes a more confident person and leader, while Reborn slowly recruits members into Tsuna's own Mafia family, which mostly includes Tsuna's schoolmates. Though they encounter new allies in the form of other hitmen and mafiosi, they also attract attention from those who want to annihilate the future boss of the Vongola Family. Enemies such as the Kokuyo Gang, a group of Mafia criminals, and The Varia, an elite team of assassins, prove to be formidable challenges for Tsuna's new "family". When the story later shifts into an alternate future, nine years and ten months later, in which some of the characters are transported into, they have to adapt to a world where every Vongola member, as well as their allies, is being hunted down by a powerful rival family of that era, the Millefiore. The characters transported from the past into this future are joined by adult versions of the ones who have yet to be replaced with their younger.
"Viper" is the code-name given to a large majority of the troops in the Cobra organization, as part of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic books and cartoon series. With the exception of the Viper infantry trooper, the code name "Viper" is usually preceded by their area of expertise.
The Vipers are the backbone of the Cobra legions. Cobra infantry troopers are issued a combination assault rifle and grenade launcher, with advanced night vision, telescopic sight and range finder. Multi-layered body armor and composite helmets with built-in communications gear are standard issue. Vipers are superbly trained, formidably equipped and highly motivated.
Vipers can opt for additional training that enables them to transfer to specialized units, focusing on specific military specialties. These units are considered elite and are constantly examined for effectiveness. Some are renamed and reorganized, absorbed into other units, or sometimes completely phased out. Some units customize their chain of command, allowing for unique Viper designations with distinct leaders.
