Indigo
Indigo is a color that is traditionally regarded as a color on the visible spectrum, as well as one of the seven colors of the rainbow: the color between blue and violet. Although traditionally considered one of seven major spectral colors, sources differ as to its actual position in the electromagnetic spectrum. Indigo is a deep and bright color close to the color wheel blue (a primary color in the RGB color space), as well as to some variants of ultramarine.
The color indigo was named after the indigo dye derived from the plant Indigofera tinctoria and related species.
The first known recorded use of indigo as a color name in English was in 1289.
History
India is believed to be the oldest center of indigo dyeing in the Old World. It was a primary supplier of indigo dye, derived from the plant Indigofera tinctoria, to Europe as early as the Greco-Roman era. The association of India with indigo is reflected in the Greek word for the 'dye', which was indikon (ινδικόν). The Romans used the term indicum, which passed into Italian dialect and eventually into English as the word indigo. El Salvador has lately been the biggest producer of indigo.

Violet Blue is an American journalist, author, editor, advisor, and educator.
Blue wrote a weekly sex column for the San Francisco Chronicle until 2010. In her podcast, Open Source Sex, she reads erotica and discusses topics such as fetishes and oral sex. She also has a video blog. She lectures at San Francisco Sex Information on the topics of oral sex and fetish. Blue is the author of several books on sex and has edited several volumes of erotica anthologies. Her first book, an erotic anthology she edited, was titled Sweet Life: Erotic Fantasies for Couples. It was published in December 2001 by Cleis Press.

Harry Allen (politician)
Harry Allen is a former city councillor and mayor of Gloucester, Ontario, Canada.
He served as a Gloucester councillor from 1978 to 1985 and then served as mayor from 1985 to 1991. Gloucester voters were angry after Allen introduced a large tax increase in 1989 to help bring municipal finances under control; he was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1991 by Claudette Cain, who subsequently introduced a tax freeze.
The St. Joseph Boulevard bridge over Green's Creek was renamed the Harry Allen Bridge in 2012.

Harry Marshall Allen (January 26, 1889 – September 13, 1963) was a Canadian politician who was a Member of Provincial Parliament in Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1945 to 1963. He represented the riding of Middlesex South for the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party. Born in Lambeth, Ontario, he was a farmer and lumberman. He died in office in 1963 of a heart attack.

Noname Jane, born Ada Mae Johnson (March 27, 1977), is an American pornographic actress. In the majority of the pornographic films in which she appeared, she used the stage name Violet Blue. In October 2007, a lawsuit brought by author Violet Blue charged that Jane had adopted the author's name and persona, prompting Jane to change her stage name to Violetta Blue, and then to Noname Jane, in response to an injunction in the case.
Early life
Noname Jane was born in Aberdeen, Washington and she is of Cherokee, Dutch, English, and French descent. She claims that she began having sexual experiences at around age 7 and that she had sexual intercourse for the first time at age 13 while her parents were out playing bingo. She began studying magick and witchcraft at the age of 16 and was initiated into Ordo Templi Orientis, a Thelemic religious organization, at age 21.
Career
Prior to making pornographic films, she claimed, in an interview, to have worked as a stripper in Salt Lake City, UT, and she only started acting in pornographic movies in Los Angeles, CA after pornographic magazines were not interested in her. She appeared in over 300 pornographic films under the name "Violet Blue", several of which were produced by Wicked Pictures and Vivid Entertainment. The films became popular in Japan, and she performed in two pornographic films with Japanese men. She was represented by the Gold Star Modeling talent agency.
