Victor "Vic" Ash (9 March 1930, in East London – 24 October 2014) was an English jazz saxophonist and clarinetist.
Ash began playing professionally in 1951 when, with Tubby Hayes, he joined the band of Kenny Baker, with whom he played until 1953. Following this association, Ash played with Vic Lewis (1953–56), then accompanied Hoagy Carmichael and Cab Calloway on their English tours.
He led his own group and was a favourite in the Melody Maker fan polls of the 1950s; concurrently he had a radio program called Sunday Break, which discussed jazz and religion. In 1954, the Vic Ash Quartet recorded with US singer Maxine Sullivan in London. Ash toured the U.S. in 1957 and returned to play with Lewis in 1959. His ensemble was the only one representing British jazz at the Newport Jazz Festival that year.
Ash remained a mainstay of the British jazz scene for decades, playing in small and large ensembles including the BBC Big Band. He accompanied Frank Sinatra on tours in Europe and the Middle East from 1970 until Sinatra's death.
Vic (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈbik]) is the capital of the comarca of Osona, in the Barcelona Province, Catalonia, Spain. Vic's location is 69 km from Barcelona and 60 km from Girona. Vic's position has made it one of the most important towns in central Catalonia.
Vic lies in the middle of the Plain of Vic, equidistant from Barcelona and the Pyrenees.
Vic is famous for its persistent fog in winter as a result of a persistent thermal inversion with temperatures as low as -10 °C and an absolute record of -24 °C. Episodes of cold and severe snowstorms are noticeable. In summer, storms are very common during the dry season, typical of the Mediterranean climate of coastal Catalonia. For that reason the natural vegetation includes the pubescent oak typical of the sub-Mediterranean climates of eastern France, Northern Italy and the Balkans.
Vic is of ancient origin. In past times it was called Ausa by the Romans. Iberian coins bearing this name have been found there. The Visigoths called it Ausona. Sewage caps on sidewalks around the city will also read "Vich," an old form of the name.

Ich kenne dich schon lange,
du redest immer viel,
willst immer diskutieren
und dann drum missionieren.
Du sagst mir was ich denken soll,
du glaubst du hasts kapiert,
dabei kriegst du nicht mal was um dich rum passiert.
Ich sage nur zwei Worte,
die werden dich Sensibelchen jetzt irgendwie enttäuschen
und wahnsinnig betroffen machen,
Fick Dich, Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Fick Dich, Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Ich höre deinem Schwachsinn nicht mehr länger zu,
armseeliger Klugscheißer,
ich hör dir nicht mehr zu.
Rede mit der Wand oder mit deiner dummen Freundin,
diskutier soviel du willst,
doch lass mich bloß in Ruh'.
Ich sage nur zwei Worte,
die werden dich Sensibelchen jetzt irgendwie enttäuschen
und wahnsinnig betroffen machen,
Fick Dich, Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Fick Dich, Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Fick Dich, Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Fick Dich, Wichser
laber mich nicht zu
Fick Dich Wichser
Fick Dich doch ins Knie
Fick Dich, Wichser
