Verdiem is a software corporation based in Seattle, WA.^[1] The company is privately owned and backed by venture capital. ^[2][3]. Verdiem produces the Surveyor 6 enterprise-class PC power management software.^[4][5][6]. The company has OEM agreements with Hewlett-Packard and Cisco^[7]. Verdiem claims over 700 organizations have deployed Surveyor on to over 2 Million devices. ^[8]

Surveyor is Verdiem’s enterprise class PC Power Management software. The product allows the central administration of power management settings for networked PCs. Intelligent policies maximize energy savings by placing machines into a lower power states without interfering with end-user productivity, desktop maintenance or upgrades.^[9] More recent releases include a Sustainability Dashboard^[10]. This feature provides an enterprise wide overview of the products usage and claimed energy savings.

Verdiem announced the Surveyor 6 Spring Edition on March 6, 2012, which allows companies to "more accurately track and manage energy consumption and costs across international boundaries, rates, and currencies"^[11]
