Venø
Venø is a small Danish island located in Limfjorden in the north of Jutland, 3 km north of Struer. It is 7.5 km long and has a maximum width of 1.5 km. With an area of 6.5 km2, it has a population of 204 as of 1 January 2015. Since 1958, there has been a ferry service from Venø Odde, the island's most southerly point, over the narrow sound to Kleppen. Venø's highest point, Forstov Bakke, is 27 metres above sea level and has cliffs to the west. The island is a popular holiday destination with good beaches and camping facilities. The only village is Venø By in the centre of the island and has Denmark's smallest church as well as a small fishing harbour which is suitable for pleasure boats.
Venø Church
The church is difficult to date but it was probably built around the time of the Reformation (1536), making it the oldest building on the island. According to tradition, it is the smallest church in Denmark measuring only 9.8 by 4.2 metres. The low ceiling and the limited seating capacity (only about 50 places) reinforce this impression. The church is built of fieldstone while brick has been used for the corners and later extensions. There is no tower as the church bell is inside the gable at the west end of the church.
Vên
Vên is the demo by the Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie. It was first released on October 18, 2003 as a self-financed project. In August 2004, its remastered version was released under contract with Fear Dark Records. Another re-release came out for spring 2008 through Twilight Records.

Mano Maritime
Mano Maritime was founded by the Israeli entrepreneur Moshe Mano, and is a subsidiary of the Mano Holdings Group. It engages in a wide range of shipping activities, including various types of cargo ships, passengers ships and other services. Mano Maritime ranks among Dun’s top 100 companies in Israel. Moshe Mano is the founder, owner, chairman and president of the company.
History
Moshe’s father, Mordechai Mano, immigrated to Israel in the 1930s along with a group of pioneers who built the Port of Haifa. Abba Hushi, then chairman of the Haifa Workers Council, traveled to Thessaloniki with the aim of motivating Jewish workers to immigrate to what was then the British mandate of Palestine. Among the 100 households that agreed to take the step were members of the Mano family, including Moshe Mano’s father, Mordechai, who was then nine years old. Mordechai became a pioneer in Israeli shipping from the 1940s, and was well known in the shipping industry both in Israel and worldwide.
Mano (stone)
A mano (Spanish for hand) is a ground stone tool used with a metate to process or grind food by hand.
History
Manos were used in prehistoric times to process wild seeds, nuts and other food, generally used with greater frequency in the Archaic period, when people became more reliant upon local wild plant food for their diet. Later, manos and metates were used to process cultivated maize.
In its early use in the American Southwest, the mano and metate were used to grind wild plants. The mano began as a one-handed tool and once cultivation of maize became more prevalent, the mano became a larger, two-handed tool that more efficiently ground food against an evolved basin or trough metate.
Besides food, manos and metates were used to separate and pulverize clay from earthen debris and stones. The resulting clay was used for pottery-making.
Grinding process
A mano, a smooth hand-held stone, is used against a metate, typically a large stone with a depression or bowl. The movement of the mano against the metate consists of a circular, rocking or chopping grinding motion using one or both hands.

Nagoor Babu known by his stage name Mano is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and music composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Mano has recorded more than 30,000 songs for various Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Oriya and Bollywood films. He has also performed for over 3000 live concerts across the continents. Notably, he has recorded 2,000 songs for Maestro Ilayaraja.
Early life and background
Mano was born as Nagoor Babu in Sattenapalli, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh state. His father Rasool, was a musician in the All India Radio, Vijayawada division and his mother Shaheeda, was a popular Stage actress. Inspired heavily by his mother, Mano joined the stage theater and played many historical characters which also involved singing live songs in his own voice. He soon started taking formal training of carnatic classical music under the vocalist Nedunuri Krishnamurthy. Subsequently, he started his film acting career in the late 1970s. He featured as a supporting character in films such as Rangoon Rowdy.
