Veedu Theda (English: He is different) is a 2011 Telugu film starring Nikhil Siddharth and Pooja Bose in the lead directed by Chinni Krishna. The movie was released on 18 November 2011. It was later dubbed in Hindi as Panjaa The Tiger.
Katthi Seenu (Nikhil Siddharth) is a carefree and brash youngster from Tirupati, who lives with his sister (Hema) and her husband (Krishna Bhagavaan). A chance meeting with Love Kumar (Ali) leads him to Bheemavaram, where he comes across Meghana (Pooja Bose). It is love at first sight for Seenu but Meghana does not reciprocate his feelings.
As the story progresses, it is revealed that Meghana has a past that is connected to the notorious don Liquor Shankar (Sayaji Shinde) and a jailed convict Das (Suman). They start pursuing Meghana and it is now up to Seenu to step in as her saviour.

Veedu (English: House) is a 1988 Tamil film directed by Balu Mahendra. Starring Archana as the central character, it depicts the difficulties faced by a middle-class family in building a house. Apart from directing, Balu Mahendra wrote the script, photographed and did the editing as well. The film score by Ilaiyaraaja earned critical acclaim. At the 35th National Film Awards, the film received two awards including one for the Best Tamil Film. The film was also screened at the "Indian Panorama" of the International Film Festival of India in 1988. Apart from winning critical acclaim,the film made on a budget of 12 lakhs collected 72 lakhs at the box-office. The film is widely considered to be one of the best films of Balu Mahendra.
