Utah State Route 151
State Route 151 (SR-151), sometimes known as the South Jordan Parkway, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah connecting SR-154 (Bangerter Highway) in South Jordan to I-15 in Sandy. The route spans 4.24 miles (6.82 km) in southern Salt Lake County.
Route description
The highway begins at the intersection of SR-154 (Bangerter Highway) and West 10400 South in South Jordan. Heading east on the latter, a four-lane road, the road shifts slightly to the north immediately past the intersection. At South 3200 West the road loses one lane in each direction. The route continues east and intersects with several local roads before reaching SR-68 (Redwood Road), where the route widens to four lanes again. Past South 1300 West, the highway begins to dip southeast and gains a fixed center median. After passing Mulligan's South golf course and crossing the Jordan River and Jordan River Parkway trail, it straightens out to the east and becomes West 10600 South while entering Sandy. Right before reaching I-15, the road passes under Union Pacific and UTA's FrontRunner railroad bridges. The highway crosses over I-15 and terminates at a single-point urban interchange serving the freeway at exit 293.
Utah
Utah (/ˈjuːtɔː/ or 
i/ˈjuːtɑː/; Navajo: Áshįįh bi Tó Hahoodzo; Arapaho: Wo'tééneihí ) is a state in the western United States. It became the 45th state admitted to the Union on January 4, 1896. Approximately 62% of Utahns are reported to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or LDS (Mormons), which greatly influences Utah culture and daily life. The world headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is located in Utah's state capital, Salt Lake City. Utah is the most religiously homogeneous state in the United States, the only state with a Mormon majority, and the only state with a majority population belonging to a single church.
Utah State University
The Utah State University (USU) is a public research university in Logan, Utah. Founded in 1888 as Utah's agricultural college, USU focused on agriculture, domestic arts, and mechanic arts. The university now offers programs in liberal arts, engineering, business, economics, natural resource sciences, as well as nationally ranked elementary & secondary education programs. The university has eight colleges and offers a total of 176 bachelor's degrees, 97 master's degrees, and 38 doctoral degrees. It is a land-grant and space-grant institution accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
USU's main campus is located in Logan with regional campuses in Brigham City, Tooele, and the Uintah Basin. In 2010, the College of Eastern Utah, located in Price, Utah joined the USU system becoming Utah State University College of Eastern Utah (USU Eastern). State Route 151 (SR 151) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. The state highway runs 35.22 miles (56.68 km) from U.S. Route 29 (US 29) at Buffalo Hill north to US 250 at Critzers Shop. SR 151 traverses the Blue Ridge foothills of western Nelson County, where the highway provides access to the Wintergreen Resort.
Route description
SR 151 begins at an intersection with US 29 (Amherst Highway) at the hamlet of Buffalo Hill north of Amherst in northern Amherst County. The state highway heads north as two-lane Patrick Henry Highway. SR 151 passes through the village of Clifford, which contains the historic homes Brick House and Winton; the latter property is preserved as part of a country club. The state highway curves around Turkey Mountain and enters Nelson County by crossing the Piney River. SR 151 passes through the hamlet of Piney River and intersects SR 56 (Tye Brook Highway) at a wye intersection; the southeast leg of the wye is unsigned, 0.23-mile (0.37 km) long SR 151Y. SR 151 and SR 56 run concurrently northeast through Hendersons Store to Roseland, where SR 56 (Crabtree Falls Highway) splits northwest to ascend the spine of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Immediately to the north of the intersection, SR 151 crosses the Tye River at Lanes Ford. The state highway passes through Jonesboro and follows Hat Creek to its source at Horseshoe Mountain, which the highway crosses via a curvaceous route at Brent Gap.
Illinois Route 151
Illinois Route 151 is a north–south state road in southern Illinois located entirely within Jackson County. It runs from Illinois Route 3 in rural Jackson County to Illinois Route 4 in Ava. This is a distance of 7.84 miles (12.62 km).
Route description
Illinois 151 serves as a connector through the northwest portion of Shawnee National Forest. It also is the access road to the Jackson Creek Recreational Area.
History
SBI Route 151 originally ran from Steeleville to Murphysboro; this was absorbed into Illinois Route 43 in 1937, and eventually became part of Illinois 4 in 1964. In 1940, Illinois 151 was placed onto its current route.
