Uraan (1995)
Uraan (English: flight) was a popular Pakistani drama serial Aired on Pakistan Television Network in 1995. The Drama serial was written and directed by Shahid Nadeem and sponsored by Pakistan International Airlines.Episodes of drama serial "Uraan" covered different aspects of air travel and events related to lives of passengers and airline professionals like cabin crew and pilots. Shooting of serial's episodes took place in various cities including Paris, New York, London, Kathmandu, Istanbul and Nairobi. Cast of the drama included Shakeel, Mehmood Aslam, Faryal Gohar, Savera Nadeem, Nabeel, Akhtar*, Sohail Malik, Qavi Khan, Nauman Ijaz, Resham.
Plot:
Aamira (Faryal Gohar) a senior PIA flight purser and daughter of a conservative father remembers the days when she used to look at the sky from the window of her dark room where she was restricted by her father and from the window of her husband's home where her husband doesn't like her to stand and watch, dreaming of flying like a bird, a kite or a plane. Rejoins PIA after few years of break and break up with her husband.

Uraan (Urdu: اُڑان) (the flight) is a Pakistani drama television serial which premiered on Geo Entertainment on 6 November 2010. The serial is written by popular Urdu novelist turned screenplay writer Umera Ahmed, directed by Yasir Nawaz and produced by Evernew Productions. It is a serial that not only deals with the issues of marriage, divorce and domestic violence but also recognizes the strength, talent and courage of the modern Pakistani woman. Retitled as Maan Jaao, it also aired in India on Zindagi.
Plot
Uraan is the story of Sana (Aamina Sheikh), Sawera (Zhalay Sarhadi) and Ayesha (Saba Qamar), three educated Pakistani women who are total strangers to each other. However, by a twist of fate, they eventually find themselves linked to each other in the most shocking way imaginable.
Sana Hamdani, host and writer of Pakistan's most popular talk show, Uraan. Sana is an educated and broad-minded girl, and is one of the most well-known celebrities in Pakistan. Her show Uraan talks about sensitive issues in Pakistani society, which has made her rise to fame in a few short months. Dr. Faraz Saeed (Humayun Saeed), a highly esteemed, Harvard-grad psychologist frequently appears on the show to discuss the psychological problems which have led to these problems in Pakistani society. Sana soon begins to receive text messages, e-mails and phone calls from a mysterious man who identifies himself as "The one who knows you". She soon beings to receive bouquets of flowers as well, but cannot pinpoint where they are coming from.
