Uptight may refer to:

Uptight (Everything's Alright)

"Uptight (Everything's Alright)" is a 1966 hit single recorded by Stevie Wonder for the Tamla (Motown) label. One of his most popular early singles, "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" was the first Stevie Wonder hit single to be co-written by the artist.

The single was a watershed in Wonder's career for several reasons. Aside from the number-one hit "Fingertips", only two of Wonder's singles had reached the Top 40 of Billboard's Pop Singles chart, ("Workout, Stevie Workout" reached #33 in late 1963 and "Hey Harmonica Man" reached #29 Pop in the Summer of 1964) and the fifteen-year-old artist was in danger of being let go. In addition, Wonder's voice had begun to change, and Motown CEO Berry Gordy was worried that he would no longer be a commercially viable artist.

As it turned out, however, producer Clarence Paul found it easier to work with Wonder's now-mature tenor voice, and Sylvia Moy and Henry Cosby set about writing a new song for the artist, based upon an instrumental riff Wonder had devised. Nelson George, in Where Did Our Love Go? The Rise and Fall of the Motown Sound, recorded that Wonder had also sought something based on the driving beat of the Rolling Stones's "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," after playing several dates with the Stones on tour and being impressed with the British band. On the day of the recording, Moy had the lyrics, but didn't have them in braille for Wonder to read, and so sang the song to him as he was recording it. She sang a line ahead of him and he simply repeated the lines as he heard them. In 2008, Moy commented that "he never missed a beat" during the recording.

Hannah Montana (season 3)

The third season of American Disney Channel teen sitcom Hannah Montana aired from November 2, 2008 until March 14, 2010. Filming for the season started a day after the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Season 3 of Hannah Montana focuses more on how the characters grow up than the previous seasons. Hannah has grown up into a new look. Different from the previous two seasons, she has shorter hair and an untraditional style which includes a lot of zebra print and unique boots. Also, Oliver and Lilly start dating starting from the episode "What I Don't Like About You". Later, Lilly moves in with the Stewarts. At the end of the season the Stewarts and Lilly move from Malibu while Oliver prepares to go on tour with a band. This is the last season to be broadcast in Standard Definition.

Opening sequence

For season three, the opening credits changed dramatically. The names appear on a scrolling marquee as you would see on a theater. The sequence then changes to full-screen episode clips, in which both season 2 and season 3 episodes clips are included. The new version of the song "The Best of Both Worlds" was performed at the Season 3 concert, and clips of that were added to the theme song as well. The creators' names appear in the second to last clip. A new version of the switch from Miley to Hannah is featured in the middle of the theme song and the second scene where cut, which is same as season 1 & 2 as Miley admires a hug between her and her dad in a clip of Hannah Montana.

Reign

A reign is the period of a person's or dynasty's occupation of the office of monarch of a nation (e.g., Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Andorra), of a people (e.g., the Franks, the Zulus) or of a spiritual community (e.g., Roman Catholicism, Tibetan Buddhism, Nizari Ismailism). In most hereditary monarchies and some elective monarchies (e.g., Holy Roman Empire) there have been no limits on the duration of a sovereign's reign or incumbency, nor is there a term of office. Thus, a reign usually lasts until the monarch dies, unless the monarchy itself is abolished or the monarch abdicates or is deposed.

In elective monarchies, there may be a fixed period of time for the duration of the monarch's tenure in office (e.g., Malaysia).

Reign (TV series)

Reign is an American historical fantasy romance television series following the early years of Mary, Queen of Scots living in France. The series, created by Stephanie SenGupta and Laurie McCarthy, airs on The CW and premiered as part of the 2013–14 American television season. The leading roles are played by a combination of Australian, Canadian, English, and New Zealand actors. Despite the show's subject matter, there are no Scottish or French actors in the main cast. Although the show has yet to air on British television, it has been acquired by Netflix for the UK and Mexico.

On February 13, 2014, The CW renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on October 2, 2014. On January 11, 2015, The CW renewed the series for a third season that premiered on October 9, 2015.

Series overview

The highly fictionalized series follows the early exploits of Mary, Queen of Scots during her years living in France. The first season takes place in 1557, with Mary living in French court and awaiting her marriage to Prince Francis, to whom she has been engaged since they were six. Mary has to contend with changing politics and power plays, as well as her burgeoning feelings for Francis and the romantic attentions of Francis's bastard half-brother, Bash. Francis's mother, Catherine de' Medici, secretly tries to prevent the marriage following Nostradamus's confidential prediction that the marriage will lead to Francis's death. The series also follows the affairs of Mary's Scottish handmaidens Kenna, Aylee, Lola, and Greer, who are searching for husbands of their own at court.

Reign (online game)

Reign is a free browser-based multiplayer online game hosted online at reign.ws. It was initially designed and developed by Ty Kauffman from April 5 to April 9, 2004. Since then, Ty, Mark Caudill and David DiBattiste have built on to the game by adding new features and improving the code. Reign was, and still is, developed using a simple text editor and Photoshop exclusively. It is a PHP / Javascript web-based strategy game that a MySQL database for data storage.

Rounds

Reign exists as a series of "rounds", each typically lasting approximately one calendar month, generally with one to three day recesses between each consecutive round. At the conclusion of each round, the game is reset, and an entirely fresh cycle of gameplay begins.

Beta

From April 2004 until September 2006, Reign was in Beta mode. During this time, new features were continually added to Reign. Player feedback greatly influenced the Developers' decisions on what aspects of the game to update each round.
