Hannah Montana (season 3)

The third season of American Disney Channel teen sitcom Hannah Montana aired from November 2, 2008 until March 14, 2010. Filming for the season started a day after the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Season 3 of Hannah Montana focuses more on how the characters grow up than the previous seasons. Hannah has grown up into a new look. Different from the previous two seasons, she has shorter hair and an untraditional style which includes a lot of zebra print and unique boots. Also, Oliver and Lilly start dating starting from the episode "What I Don't Like About You". Later, Lilly moves in with the Stewarts. At the end of the season the Stewarts and Lilly move from Malibu while Oliver prepares to go on tour with a band. This is the last season to be broadcast in Standard Definition.

Opening sequence

For season three, the opening credits changed dramatically. The names appear on a scrolling marquee as you would see on a theater. The sequence then changes to full-screen episode clips, in which both season 2 and season 3 episodes clips are included. The new version of the song "The Best of Both Worlds" was performed at the Season 3 concert, and clips of that were added to the theme song as well. The creators' names appear in the second to last clip. A new version of the switch from Miley to Hannah is featured in the middle of the theme song and the second scene where cut, which is same as season 1 & 2 as Miley admires a hug between her and her dad in a clip of Hannah Montana.

Disco 2000

Disco 2000 was a British pop band, a side project of The KLF. Vocals were handled by Cressida Cauty (wife of KLF co-founder Jimmy Cauty) and June Montana, also known as Mo (former vocalist of Jimmy Cauty's previous band Brilliant). Between 1987 and 1989, Disco 2000 released three singles on the KLF Communications label, none of which entered the top 75 of the UK Singles Chart.

History

In 1981, Cressida Bowyer and Jimmy Cauty performed in the band Angels 1–5. They later married. Between 1983 and 1986, Jimmy Cauty and June Montana were members of the band Brilliant, in which Jimmy Cauty played guitar. Brilliant were signed to WEA Records by their A&R man of the time, Bill Drummond, but despite considerable investment, the act was commercially unsuccessful. Tired of his job and disillusioned with the industry, Drummond left WEA in July 1986, and some months later co-founded The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs) with Jimmy Cauty. The duo established an independent record label, KLF Communications, as a means to release The JAMs' material, and, as a side project, they dabbled in pop music with 'Disco 2000', a group fronted and vocalised by Cressida Cauty and Mo Brathwaite, who arrived from Leicester. Disco 2000's debut single, the first of three, was "I Gotta CD", released on 30 October 1987. Neither this nor its follow-ups "One Love Nation" (1988) and "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" (1989) entered the UK Singles Chart, despite the pop production sound and some publicity, including music videos for "One Love Nation" and "Uptight". A track entitled "Feel This" was contributed by the group to the 1989 Eternity Project One LP (assembled by former Brilliant member Martin Glover), under the name 'Discotec 2000'.

Mink

There are two living species referred to as "mink": the American mink and the European mink. The extinct sea mink is related to the American mink, but was much larger. All three species are dark-colored, semiaquatic, carnivorous mammals of the family Mustelidae, which also includes weasels, otters and ferrets. The American mink is larger and more adaptable than the European mink. Due to variations in size, an individual mink usually cannot be determined as European or American with certainty without looking at the skeleton. There is one exception to this rule: all European minks have a large white patch on their upper lip, while only some American minks do. Thus, any mink with no such patch is certainly of the American variety. Taxonomically, both American and European minks used to be placed in the same genus Mustela ("weasels"), but most recently the American mink has been reclassified as belonging to its own genus Neovison.

The American mink's fur has been highly prized for its use in clothing, with hunting giving way to farming; for instance, in Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada alone, there are around two million mink raised on ranches per year. Its treatment has also been a focus of animal rights and animal welfareactivism. American mink have found their way into the wild in Europe (including Great Britain) and South America, after being released from mink farms by animal rights activists or otherwise escaping from captivity.

Christopher Morrison

Christopher Wingfield Morrison (nicknamed mink) is a British American film director and graphic novel writer.

Early life

Christopher Morrison was born in London, England, and relocated with his parents to Los Angeles in the United States at the age of eight. Christopher attended photography college in Santa Barbara.

Career

After college after Morrison returned to Los Angeles and was given the job as a runner at Walt Disney Studios.

Morrison directed music videos for such hip-hop artists as Snoop Dogg, Master P Raphael Saqqiq, E-40, South Central Cartel and Slum Village, along with alternative rock artists such as Veruca Salt, Face to Face, Dead Poetic and Sheryl Crow. In 2001, he was given a place as a director at Lawrence Bender's and Quentin Tarantino's A Band Apart films.

Wingfield directed the adventure thriller Into the Sun in Tokyo, Japan, in 2005 and the action comedy Full Clip in 2003. He was attached to the remake of Mortal Kombat with Larry Kasanoff producing through Threshold Entertainment and New Line Pictures in 2007. The movie never happened for various reasons.

Mink (printer)

Mink is a 3D printing company based in New York. The company created a 3D printer allows users to select any color on the internet and print it into an eye shadow pod.

Mink was founded by Harvard grad Grace Choi and debuted at TechCrunch's Disrupt conference in May 2014. The printer combines ink with a variety of substrates to "create any type of makeup, from powders to cream to lipstick," according to Choi. All ink used by Mink is FDA-approved.

The printer was initially estimated to retail at $300.
