Hannah Montana (season 3)

The third season of American Disney Channel teen sitcom Hannah Montana aired from November 2, 2008 until March 14, 2010. Filming for the season started a day after the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Season 3 of Hannah Montana focuses more on how the characters grow up than the previous seasons. Hannah has grown up into a new look. Different from the previous two seasons, she has shorter hair and an untraditional style which includes a lot of zebra print and unique boots. Also, Oliver and Lilly start dating starting from the episode "What I Don't Like About You". Later, Lilly moves in with the Stewarts. At the end of the season the Stewarts and Lilly move from Malibu while Oliver prepares to go on tour with a band. This is the last season to be broadcast in Standard Definition.

Opening sequence

For season three, the opening credits changed dramatically. The names appear on a scrolling marquee as you would see on a theater. The sequence then changes to full-screen episode clips, in which both season 2 and season 3 episodes clips are included. The new version of the song "The Best of Both Worlds" was performed at the Season 3 concert, and clips of that were added to the theme song as well. The creators' names appear in the second to last clip. A new version of the switch from Miley to Hannah is featured in the middle of the theme song and the second scene where cut, which is same as season 1 & 2 as Miley admires a hug between her and her dad in a clip of Hannah Montana.

Disco 2000

Disco 2000 was a British pop band, a side project of The KLF. Vocals were handled by Cressida Cauty (wife of KLF co-founder Jimmy Cauty) and June Montana, also known as Mo (former vocalist of Jimmy Cauty's previous band Brilliant). Between 1987 and 1989, Disco 2000 released three singles on the KLF Communications label, none of which entered the top 75 of the UK Singles Chart.

History

In 1981, Cressida Bowyer and Jimmy Cauty performed in the band Angels 1–5. They later married. Between 1983 and 1986, Jimmy Cauty and June Montana were members of the band Brilliant, in which Jimmy Cauty played guitar. Brilliant were signed to WEA Records by their A&R man of the time, Bill Drummond, but despite considerable investment, the act was commercially unsuccessful. Tired of his job and disillusioned with the industry, Drummond left WEA in July 1986, and some months later co-founded The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs) with Jimmy Cauty. The duo established an independent record label, KLF Communications, as a means to release The JAMs' material, and, as a side project, they dabbled in pop music with 'Disco 2000', a group fronted and vocalised by Cressida Cauty and Mo Brathwaite, who arrived from Leicester. Disco 2000's debut single, the first of three, was "I Gotta CD", released on 30 October 1987. Neither this nor its follow-ups "One Love Nation" (1988) and "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" (1989) entered the UK Singles Chart, despite the pop production sound and some publicity, including music videos for "One Love Nation" and "Uptight". A track entitled "Feel This" was contributed by the group to the 1989 Eternity Project One LP (assembled by former Brilliant member Martin Glover), under the name 'Discotec 2000'.

Keiko is a special single by Lucerito,it was dedicated to Keiko the orca that starred in the first of the three Free Willy movies. When the whale was sold to the Reino Aventura (now Six Flags México), the label of Lucerito decided to release this single due to the fame of the whale.

History

Reino Aventura ("Adventure Kingdom" in English) was an park located in Tlalpan in Mexico City. It opened to the public in March 1982 as the biggest amusement park in Latin America. Keiko was purchased from Marineland in Ontario, Canada, and was one of the new attractions aimed to improve the park. To promote the whale and the park, the park administration made a contract with Musart Records, which released a special single with two songs about the whale. Musart Records had the best selling teen singer to carry out this agreement, Lucerito.

Keiko (orca)

Keiko (earlier Siggi) (c. 1976 – December 12, 2003) was a male orca who portrayed Willy in the 1993 film Free Willy.

History

Keiko, whose name means "lucky one" in the Japanese language but is given only to females, was captured near Reyðarfjörður, Iceland in 1979 and sold to the Icelandic aquarium in Hafnarfjörður. Three years later he was sold to Marineland in Ontario where he first started performing for the public and developed skin lesions indicative of poor health. He was then sold to Reino Aventura (now named Six Flags Mexico), an amusement park in Mexico City, in 1985. He was the star of the movie Free Willy in 1993.

The publicity from his role in Free Willy led to an effort by Warner Brothers Studio to find him a better home. Donations from the studio and Craig McCaw led to the establishment of the Free Willy-Keiko Foundation in February 1995. With donations from the foundation and millions of school children, the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, Oregon was given over $7 million to construct facilities to return him to health with the hope of returning him to the wild. UPS provided ground transportation to the nearby Newport Municipal Airport in a specialized container. Before he left the amusement park, he performed for the public for the last time. Weighing 3500 kg (7720 pounds), he was transported by air in a C-130 Hercules donated by UPS. During the process of transferring him to the plane, trouble occurred but he remained unharmed.
