Upper Lachlan Shire

Upper Lachlan Shire is a local government area in the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. The Shire was formed in February 2004 from Crookwell Shire and parts of Mulwaree, Gunning and Yass Shires.

The Mayor of Upper Lachlan Shire Council is Cr. John Shaw, an unaligned politician.

The shire includes the towns of Crookwell, Gunning, Taralga, Bannaby, Dalton, Binda, Bigga, Tuena, Breadalbane, Cullerin, Laggan and Oolong.

Upper Lachlan Shire Council is composed of nine Councillors elected proportionally as one entire ward. All Councillors are elected for a fixed four-year term of office. Lachlan Shire

Lachlan Shire is a local government area in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. The Shire is located adjacent to the Lachlan River, the Lachlan Valley Way and the Broken Hill railway line.

The largest town and council seat is Condobolin. The Shire also includes the towns and villages of Tottenham, Lake Cargelligo, Tullibigeal, Albert, Burcher and Fifield.

The Mayor of Lachlan Shire Council is Cr. Des Manwaring, who is unaligned with any political party.
