The Wind can refer to:
The Wind is the twelfth and final studio album by American singer/songwriter Warren Zevon. The album was released on August 26, 2003, by Artemis Records. Zevon began recording the album shortly after he was diagnosed with inoperable pleural mesothelioma (a cancer of the lining of the lung), and it was released just two weeks before his death on September 7, 2003. The album was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. "Disorder in the House", performed by Zevon and Bruce Springsteen, won Best Rock Vocal Performance (Group or Duo). Songs from the album were nominated for an additional three Grammys.
In the Wind is the third mini-album played by the South Korean boy band B1A4 and was released by WM Entertainment on November 12, 2012. The track "Tried to Walk" was used as the lead single of the EP.
War Babies is the debut and final album by the band War Babies, who disbanded in 1993. The album was released by Columbia Records in 1991 and re-issued by German label UlfTone Music in 2003 and French company Bad Reputation in 2007, respectively.
The album produced three singles, "Hang Me Up" (co-written by Tommy McMullin and Paul Stanley), "Cry Yourself to Sleep" (co-written by Brad Sinsel and Stanley), and "Blue Tomorrow" (a song dedicated to Andrew Wood from Mother Love Bone, who overdosed two years earlier).
In addition, the song "In the Wind" features in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the forerunner to the later successful TV series.
Sinsel later commented about his writing session with Stanley, calling him, "one of the biggest egomaniacs I have ever come across in my career. He was rude and disrespectful and at some point, I'm playing (TKO's) "Kill the Pain" while we're warming up. So, he says, "I'm going to start playing some stuff and you just tell me if you hear anything". What came out of it was just "Kill the Pain" backwards. At some point he goes, "how about in this part we do blah, blah, blah" and it was off of Love Gun. By now I've had enough of his remarks and I just looked at him and said, "look, it's not like I'm like Tommy (McMullin)" and he says, "what do you mean?" and I said, "it's not like I own a KISS doll, or something."
The eighth season of CSI: Miami premiered on CBS on September 21, 2009 and ended May 24, 2010. The series stars David Caruso and Emily Procter.

I listen to the wind
to the wind of my soul
Where I'll end up
well, I think only God really knows
I sat upon the setting sun
But never never never
I never wanted water once
No never, never, never
I listen to my words
but they fall far below
I let my music take me
where my heart wants to go
I swam upon the Devil's lake
but never never never
I'll never make the same mistake
