Player (political)

A political player is a participant in politics who has or is perceived to have influence or power, although usually on a smaller level than a global power elite. The phrase may refer to an individual who is a candidate or elected or appointed official, but more commonly refers to someone who is not in office but still wields power or influence, such as a lobbyist, a fundraiser or contributor, a whistleblower, a political consultant, a labor union or labor leader, a corporation, or even an entire industry. More recently, with the rise of the Internet, web-based groups such as Moveon.org and online organizations, like ActBlue, have become political players as well.

Players (film)

Players is a 2012 Indian action heist film directed by duo Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla and jointly produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Burmawala Partners. The film features an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Sikandar Kher and Omi Vaidya in the lead roles, while Aftab Shivdasani appears in a cameo. The theatrical trailer premiered on 3 November 2011, and the film was released on 6 January 2012. It is an official remake of the 2003 Hollywood blockbuster, The Italian Job, which itself is a remake of the 1969 British caper film, of the same name.Players employs the same plot as the 2003 version, while making the characters and incidents completely different.

The story follows a team of players, consisting of a con-man, an automobile expert who doubles up as a seductress, an illusionist, an explosives expert, an expert hacker and an actor turned prosthetic makeup artist, who plan to steal gold worth ₹100 billion (US$1.5 billion) from a moving train. During the robbery they are double crossed by members of their own team.

3Player

3player is an on demand video service provided by Ireland's TV3, for programmes broadcast on both TV3 and 3e.3player is available to audiences in the Republic of Ireland. The service was launched on Saturday 8 October 2011. The service replaced TV3 Catch-Up.

Content

3player is a free online catch-up service which lets viewers watch a variety of programmes for up to 28 days after they are broadcast on TV3 and 3e. Most programmes are available for 28 days from the day they were broadcast. Due to programme rights restrictions however other programmes, mainly ITV productions are only available for 7 days. The majority of TV3 and 3e's broadcasts are available on the service. Both channels are also available live as they broadcast on this service.

As of May 2013, 3player users are now asked to register their details. TV3 Group is encouraging users of its 3player catch-up service to register as part of a push to gather more information on its online audience. The change is part of a broader reconfiguration of its website that sees the introduction of new hourly online news bulletins from today. Registered 3player users will be able to create playlists of their favourite shows and use their logins to pick up where they left off across all devices.

Untitled (Selections from 12)

Untitled (Selections From 12) is a 1997 promotional-only EP from German band The Notwist which was released exclusively in the United States. Though the release of the EP was primarily to promote the band's then-current album 12, it contains one track from their 1992 second record Nook as well as the non-album cover of Robert Palmer's "Johnny and Mary". The version of "Torture Day" on this EP features the vocals of Cindy Dall.

Untitled (Kelly, 1975)

Untitled is an outdoor 1975 sculpture by Lee Kelly, installed at Louisa Boren Park in Seattle, Washington, in the United States. The abstract, welded Cor-Ten steel piece measures approximately 19 feet (5.8 m) x 14 feet (4.3 m) x 10 feet (3.0 m). It was surveyed and deemed "treatment needed" by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in November 1994. The work is part of the Seattle One Percent for Art Collection and administered by the Seattle Arts Commission.

Untitled (Thought Forms and Esben and the Witch EP)

Untitled (referred to in Spotify as Split LP) is a split EP by British rock bands Thought Forms and Esben and the Witch, which was released on 7 April 2014 through Invada Records. It was also released as a digital download and on 12" silver vinyl, limited to 500 copies. The EP contains four songs by Thought Forms and two songs by Esben and the Witch, and the songs "Sound of Violence" by Thought Forms and "No Dog" by Esben and the Witch were uploaded to SoundCloud.
