UnionPacificRailroad work on replacing railroad ties on the Union Pacific NorthwestLine is expected to cause delays for the next two months, and four midday trains will be cancelled.
As the interim contract between Metra and UnionPacific freight railroad company expired June 30, the commuter trains on the Union Pacific NorthwestLine and other two Metra lines that operate on Union Pacific tracks haven’t stopped running.
