Union (Toni Childs album)

Union is the debut album of the American singer/songwriter Toni Childs. Released in 1988, the album peaked at #63 in the US (where it has since been certified Gold for sales of over 500,000 copies). It also peaked at #1 in New Zealand where it was certified 5x Platinum (75,000 copies sold).

The album was recorded in London, Paris, and Swaziland. Following its release, Childs was nominated for two Grammy Awards (for 'Best New Artist' and for 'Best Rock Vocal Performance (Female)' for the single "Don't Walk Away").

Coherent topology

In topology, a coherent topology is a topology that is uniquely determined by a family of subspaces. Loosely speaking, a topological space is coherent with a family of subspaces if it is a topological union of those subspaces. It is also sometimes called the weak topology generated by the family of subspaces, a notion which is quite different from the notion of a weak topology generated by a set of maps.

Definition

Let X be a topological space and let C = {C_α : α ∈ A} be a family of subspaces of X (typically C will be a cover of X). Then X is said to be coherent with C (or determined by C) if X has the final topology coinduced by the inclusion maps

By definition, this is the finest topology on (the underlying set of) X for which the inclusion maps are continuous.

The following is an episode list for the ABC comedy-drama series The Wonder Years. The series premiered on January 31, 1988 and ran for a total of 115 episodes spanning 6 seasons ending on May 12, 1993.

Originally, none of the seasons were available on DVD as official season box sets due to the cost of securing the music rights. (See The Wonder Years article for more detailed information.) Time Life released the complete series on DVD Friday October 10th 2014.

Cast

Rey Curtis (played by Benjamin Bratt) replaced season 5's Mike Logan (Chris Noth) in the role of junior detective. This change left District Attorney Adam Schiff (played by Steven Hill) as the only remaining member of the series' cast from the first season. Hill was not an original member of the cast as his character replaced D.A. Alfred Wentworth (played by Roy Thinnes) from the original pilot, "Everyone's Favorite Bagman". Paul Robinette (played by original cast member Richard Brooks) returns in the episode "Custody", his first guest appearance after his departure after season 3.

Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure

Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure (also known as Lady and the Tramp 2) is a 2001 American animated direct-to-video sequel to the 1955 animated feature film Lady and the Tramp.

The film centers on Lady and Tramp's only son, Scamp, who desires to become a "wild dog".

Produced by Disney Television Animation in Australia, the film was released on February 27, 2001, 46 years after its predecessor. Disney re-released it in the United States on DVD after the Platinum Edition DVD release of the first film on 20 June 2006. The Special Edition DVD went back to the Disney Vault on 31 January 2007. A new Special Edition was released on a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack on 21 August 2012.

Plot

Lady and Tramp have had three spunky but well-mannered daughters, Annette, Colette and Danielle, and a feisty and playful but rambunctious and mischievous son, Scamp. After causing a mess while chasing after a ball tossed by the family baby, Jim Jr. in the house, Scamp is chained to a doghouse outside by Jim Dear. Tramp tries to reason with his son, but Scamp's unrelenting desire to be a "wild dog" causes a fed-up Tramp to lose his temper and go back inside in anger. Scamp then sees a pack of stray dogs harassing the dogcatcher outside the yard and becomes intrigued. He manages to break free from his chain and runs off to find them. He finds a beautiful member of the pack, Angel, and they go to the junkyard with the rest of the Junkyard Dogs. Meanwhile, Lady goes outside to reconcile with Scamp. Realizing that he is gone, she alerts Tramp and the family to start a search party.
