Barbicornis is a genus of the family Riodinidae with a single species Barbicornis basilis present in Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina.
The species is easily recognizable by the very small hindwings provided with a long apex of the tail on the lower radial (uppermost median) vein.The original description was published in Encyclopédie Méthodique.The imagines drink early in the morning from wet stones and places on roads or tracks and rest in day-time beneath leaves.
Chroma is a one-act contemporary ballet created by Wayne McGregor for the Royal Ballet. The work received its premiere at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden on 17 November 2006. The ballet is performed to a combination of original music by Joby Talbot and arrangements of music by Jack White of the White Stripes, with orchestrations by Christopher Austin. The ballet was a great success, achieving a number of notable award nominations.
