The Ariane was a French automobile made by Automobiles Ariane, Suresnes, Seine in 1907. It was a small friction-drive two-seater using a single-cylinder 6 hp engine. The friction discs were mounted at the rear axle.
Ariane (Ariadne) is an opera by the French composer Jean-Joseph Mouret, first performed at the Académie Royale de Musique (the Paris Opera) on 6 April 1717. It takes the form of a tragédie en musique in a prologue and five acts. The libretto is by Charles-François-Joseph-Victor de La Grange-Chancel and Pierre-Charles Roy.
