Unbelievable (Wang Leehom album)

Unbelievable (simplified Chinese: 不可思议; traditional Chinese: 不可思議; pinyin: búkěsīyì) is the 9th album of the Taiwanese R&B artist and composer, Leehom Wang, and was released on October 15, 2003.

The album was awarded one of the Top 10 Selling Mandarin Albums of the Year at the 2004 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards, presented by the Hong Kong branch of IFPI.

About the album

After the success of Leehom Wang's last Mandarin album, The One and Only, Wang decided to head toward a different road of music. Although keeping his usual R&B grove, Wang decided to move away from his previous rock image and focus on hip-hop. Wang's new style was quickly accepted by his fans and gained much more new fans. Copies of the album sold past 1,300,000 in Asia, defeating his last successful album, The One and Only by quite a feat.

Wang's first world tour was also called, Unbelievable. However the tour began one year before the release of this album. During the world tours, Wang had hinted that he was approaching to a new style of music in his new album by incorporating hip-hop beats in some of his rock songs.

Unbelievable (Craig David song)

"Unbelievable" is the third single from British R&B artist Craig David's third album The Story Goes.... The third single from The Story Goes... was rumoured to be a double A-side of fan-favourites, "Hypnotic" and "Johnny", however it was "Unbelievable" that was chosen. It became one of David's smallest hits to date, peaking at #18 in the UK. The disappointing performance of the song in the UK, where the first two singles charted in the top five, led "Unbelievable" to be the final single from The Story Goes... The song was slightly remixed for single release.

Chart performance

"Unbelievable" charted at number eighteen on the UK Singles Chart, spending five weeks within the UK Top 75. It remains his second-lowest charting peak, with only "You Don't Miss Your Water ('Til the Well Runs Dry)" charting lower. David's collaboration with Kano also charted at eighteen but had a longer chart run. It did not chart elsewhere.

Party of Free Democrats

The Party of Free Democrats (Ukrainian: Партія Вільних Демократів) is a political party in Ukraine led by Mykhaylo Brodskyy. It was registered in November 1999 as Yabluko (Ukrainian: Яблуко; Apple). The party has about 1,000 members.

History

Mykhaylo Brodskyy (a member of the Hromada faction) formed a 14-member "Yabluko" faction in the Ukrainian Parliament mid-September 2000.

At the parliamentary elections on 30 March 2002, the party won 1.2% of the popular vote and no seats (as Yabluko).

In March 2005, the party was self-liquidated and merged into Fatherland Party (Batkivschuna) led by Yulia Tymoshenko. But in March 2007 Mykhaylo Brodskyy announced the renewal of the party; renaming it Party of Free Democrats.

On 30 September 2007, elections, the party failed again to win parliamentary representation.

The party nominated Brodskyy as its candidate for President of Ukraine in the 2010 Ukrainian presidential elections late October 2009.

During the 2010 Ukrainian local elections, the party won representatives in municipalities and did particularly well in Cherkasy.
