Uday Pratap Singh Yadav, a Samajwadi Party member, was a Rajya Sabha member representing Uttar Pradesh between 2002 and 2008.He has also been a member of Lok Sabha from 1994-2006.Besides being a veteran politician he is also famous for his works done in fields of poetry and responsible for the upliftment of Hindi and Urdu in Uttar pradesh and across the globe.Presently he is the chairperson of Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthaan.It's a very dignified ministry of the state cabinet(U.P.)Recently he was felicitated with the prestigious Shiromani awards(along with Gopal Das "Neeraj" which are no less than the Noble Prize for poetry.A holder of plethora of such awards like the Yash Bharti and many more. He also has family relations with the party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and son CM Akhilesh Yadav.He used to be the teacher of Mulayam Singh Yadav in earlier days.

Uday Pratap Singh (Bhadri)

Uday Pratap Singh (born 1933) is an Indian titular Raja of former Zamindari Bhadri of Oudh from 1970 to present, succeeded by his uncle last ruler Raja Rai Bajrang Bahadur Singh. He is one of the prominent Hindu leader of RSS and VHP, India based nationalist Hindu organization and environmentalist who is working for the forest conservation in India.

Early life and education

Uday born in 1933 in Bisen clan of Rajput as the only son of Kunwar Trilochan Pratap Singh and his wife Rukmini Devi. He educated at The Doon School, Dehradun. Uday Pratap is nephew of Raja Bajrang Bahadur Singh of Bhadri (1905–1970) who was the first vice-chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology and later served as second Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Since last ruler of Bhadri, Raja Bajrang Bahadur had no son, he adopted his nephew Uday Pratap Singh as his heir.

Personal life

Singh wed Manjul Raje who hails from erstwhile princely state Samthar. Raje is said to be quite religious. Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, a very well known politician of Uttar Pradesh is son of Raja Uday Pratap Singh and his wife Manjul Raje of Samthar.

Uday Pratap Singh (Madhya Pradesh politician)

Uday Pratap Singh is an Indian politician and a member of 15th Lok Sabha from Hoshangabad (Lok Sabha constituency). He was elected as a candidate for Indian National Congress but later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is contesting the 2014 Lok Sabha election on the BJP ticket.

Shahzada Pratap Singh Bahadur (1831 – 15 September 1843) or Tikka Sahib was the eldest son of Sher Singh, Maharaja of Sikh Empire. His mother was Maharani Prem Kaur.

He was installed as heir apparent with the title of Tikka Sahib by his father, at Lahore Fort, 27 January 1841.

He was killed by Ajit Singh Sandhanwalia with his fether and wazir Dhian Singh, 15 September 1843.

Pratap Singh Patwal (born (1971-12-08)8 December 1971) is an Indian football referee.

Biography

Pratap is originally from the town of Premnagar, Uttarakhand. He served in the Indian Navy before voluntarily retiring.

Refereeing career

Pratap is on the FIFA referees list and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Elite Refeering Panel for 2012. He has been a FIFA referee since 2009. He made his debut in an international match between India and Yemen in Pune in 2010.

Pratap is a member of the Uttarakhand State Football Referee Association.

In October 2012 he became one of three Indian referees to be offered professional contracts. The AIFF contracted Pratap from October 2012 to May 2013. He was awarded AIFF Best Referee Award for 2013 and best referee for 2013–14 I-League.
