Arkansas Highway 34

Arkansas Highway 34 is a state highway of 51.0 miles (82.1 km) that runs in Lawrence, and Randolph, and Greene Counties.

Route description

AR 34 begins in Walnut Ridge and runs northeast under US 67, meeting and concurring with AR 231 until O'Kean. AR 34 meets AR 90 in O'Kean, and runs with it northeast to Delaplaine. The route turns south in Delaplaine to Evening Star, when it heads east to meet AR 141 in Beech Grove. AR 34 continues east to meet AR 135 north of Oak Grove Heights, which it follows north until Lafe. AR 34 then runs east to Marmaduke, where it crosses US 49/AR 1. The route continues east to the community of Fritz, where AR 34 meets AR 139 and terminates.

South Carolina Highway 34

South Carolina Highway 34 (SC 34) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of South Carolina. As one of the longer state highways, it traverses the state east-west from Greenwood to Dillon, connecting the cities of Newberry, Winnsboro, Camden, Bishopville and Darlington.

Route description

SC 34 begins as a hidden highway in downtown Greenwood, at the intersection of Main Street and Maxwell Avenue. On city and state official maps, SC 34 is on an east parallel to US 25 Bus./US 178 Bus. along Main Street with some sections being in concurrency; however, no signage identifies this unique relationship, thus the hidden status for 1.6 miles (2.6 km). At the intersection of Main Street and Ninety Six Highway, the first signage of SC 34 appears, heading east to Ninety Six.

SC 34 travels through the town of Ninety Six and near the Ninety Six National Historic Site. Near Newberry, it takes a bypass route along Dixie Drive and Wilson Road, before continuing east to Winnsboro. Now going southeast, it goes through Ridgeway, to Lugoff, where it overlaps with US 1/US 601 to Camden. Continuing east and parallel to I-20, SC 34 joins with US 15 at Bishopville and skirts north of Lee State Park. East of Lydia, SC 34 separates from US 15 and goes directly to Darlington. Heading in a northeasterly direction now, it goes through Brownsville then east into downtown Dillon, where it ends at the intersection of Main Street and Second Avenue.

Highway 34 is a highway in the South District of Israel that begins at Yad Mordechai in the north, passes through Sderot, and ends in the south at Netivot. Its length is 19.75 km.

U.S. Route 69

U.S. Route 69 is a north–south United States highway. When it was first created, it was only 150 miles (241 km) long, but it has since been expanded into a Minnesota to Texas cross-country route. The highway's southern terminus (as well as those of US 287 and US 96) is in Port Arthur, Texas at an intersection with State Highway 87. Its northern terminus is in Albert Lea, Minnesota at Minnesota State Highway 13.

Texas

US 69 begins at its southern terminus with SH 87 in Port Arthur. This intersection is also the southern terminus for US 96 and US 287, which are concurrent with US 69. US 69, US 96, and US 287 continue in a northwest, then west, route until its intersection with Interstate 10 in southern Beaumont. At this intersection, US 69, US 96, and US 287 merge with I-10. I-10/US 69/US 96/US 287 continue in a northerly direction through Beaumont for several miles. Just after the intersection with US 90, I-10 splits from the multiplex and resumes its easterly course, leaving US 69, US 96, and US 287 heading northwest through Beaumont. US 69 north of I-10 is also known officially known as Eastex Freeway, and is an official evacuation route, just as Interstate 69/US 59 heading north from Houston is known as Eastex Freeway as well.

U.S. Route 160

U.S. Route 160 is a 1,465 mile (2,358 km) long east–west United States highway in the Midwestern United States. The western terminus of the route is at US 89 five miles (8 km) west of Tuba City, Arizona. The eastern terminus is at US 67 and Missouri 158 southwest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Its route, if not its number, was made famous in song in 1975, as the road from Wolf Creek Pass to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in C.W. McCall's country music song Wolf Creek Pass.

Arizona

US 160 begins at US 89 near the western edge of Navajo Nation. Near Tuba City, it intersects State Route 264. It goes through Tonalea and Cow Springs before entering Kayenta, where it intersects U.S. Route 163. It continues northeast through Dennehotso, then has a brief overlap with U.S. Route 191 in Mexican Water. It goes east until Teec Nos Pos, where it intersects U.S. Route 64, then turns northeast to go to the Four Corners and enters New Mexico.

US 160 is one of the major routes crossing the Navajo Nation and in Arizona does not leave the Navajo Nation.

U.S. Route 27

U.S. Route 27 (US 27) is a north–south United States highway in the southern and midwestern United States. The southern terminus is at US 1 in Miami, Florida. The northern terminus is at Interstate 69 (I-69) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. From Miami it goes up the center of Florida, then west to Tallahassee, Florida, and north through such cities and towns as Columbus, Georgia; Rome, Georgia; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Lexington, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; Oxford, Ohio; Richmond, Indiana; and Fort Wayne, Indiana. It once extended north through Lansing, Michigan, to Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, and for about 3 years as far as St. Ignace.

US 27 appeared in 1926, replacing what had been the western route of the Dixie Highway in many places.

Florida

In Florida, US 27 has been designated the Claude Pepper Memorial Highway by the Florida State Legislature. It was named after long-time Florida US Senator and congressman Claude Pepper. Nearly the entire length of US 27 in Florida is a divided highway.

U.S. Route 34 in Nebraska

In the U.S. state of Nebraska, U.S. Highway 34 is a highway which goes between the Colorado border west of Haigler to the Iowa border east of Plattsmouth. Between Culbertson and Hastings, U.S. 34 overlaps U.S. Highway 6. From Grand Island to Lincoln, U.S. 34 has been replaced by Interstate 80 as a high-speed corridor and mostly serves local traffic. On this portion of the highway, U.S. 34 is continuously north of Interstate 80. Within Lincoln, U.S. 34 runs concurrent with all of Interstate 180, and much of it follows O Street.

Route description

U.S. Highway 34 begins west of Haigler. At Haigler, it meets Nebraska Highway 27, which connects with K-27 in Kansas. It continues east to Benkelman, where it intersects and overlaps with Nebraska Highway 61 and briefly turns north. After leaving Benkelman, the overlap ends, and U.S. 34 continues northeast through Max and Stratton before meeting Nebraska Highway 25 in Trenton. Before reaching Culbertson, it intersects U.S. Highway 6.
