Cái Nước District

Cái Nước is a rural district of Cà Mau Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2004 the district had a population of 139,552. The district capital lies at Cái Nước.

The district was split in 2004 to form a new district of Cà Mau Province. It previously covered an area of 670 km² but today covers 395.14 km².

Cái Nước is bordered to the east by Đầm Dơi District and Ngọc Hiển District (these two neighbouring districts being separated by the Bảy Háp river), Cà Mau City to the north, Trần Văn Thời District to the west and northwest.

Cái Nước has gardens famous for their birdlife. Like other areas on the Cà Mau peninsula, the terrain is that of a floodplain, and as such, the main industry is marine-based. The dominant industry in the area is prawn and blue crab farming.

On May 17, 1984, when it was still part of Minh Hải Province, Cái Nước comprised the capital Phú Tân and 32 communes: Cái Nước, Hiệp Hưng, Trần Thời, Tân Thới, Tân Hưng, Phong Hưng, Tân Hưng Đông, Hưng Mỹ, Bình Mỹ, Phú Lộc, Phú Hưng, Tân Hiệp, Đông Thới, Thanh Hưng, Thạch Phúc, Thạnh Trung, Lương Thế Tân, Hoà Mỹ, Tân Hải, Phú Hoà, Phú Hiệp, Việt Thắng, Việt Hùng, Tân Hưng Tây, Nguyễn Việt Khái, Phú Thuận, Phú Mỹ A, Phú Thành, Tân Nghiệp, Tân Phong, Việt Dũng and Việt Cường.

Tôn

Tôn is a Vietnamese surname. The name is transliterated as Sun in Chinese and Son in Korean.

Ton is the anglicized variation of the surname Tôn.

Těně is a village and municipality (obec) in Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 4.9 square kilometres (1.9 sq mi), and has a population of 248 (as at 3 July 2006).

Těně lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Rokycany, 30 km (19 mi) east of Plzeň, and 59 km (37 mi) south-west of Prague.

Tản Đà

Nguyễn Khắc Hiếu (阮克孝), penname Tản Đà (chữ Hán: 傘沱, 19 May 1889 - 7 June 1939) was a Vietnamese poet. He used both traditional Sino-Vietnamese forms and European influences and was a transitional figure between the turn of the 1890s such as Tú Xương and Nguyễn Khuyến and the "New Poetry" movement of the 1930s.

Late in his life he published a literary magazine in Hanoi, An Nam Tạp Chí (Annam Magazine), but when this got into financial difficulty, readily accepted an invitation to come South and write for the new Đông Pháp Thời Báo (Indochina Times) in Saigon. Although popular with the newspaper-buying public his poetry was criticised by the young poets of the Hanoi-based Thơ mới "New Poetry" movement influenced by French poets such as Baudelaire.
