Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks is an American television serial drama created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. It follows an investigation headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington. Its pilot episode was broadcast on April 8, 1990, on ABC. Seven more episodes were produced, and the series was renewed for a second season that aired until June 10, 1991.

Twin Peaks explores the gulf between the veneer of small-town respectability and the seedier life beneath. As the series progresses, the inner darkness of characters who initially appeared innocent is revealed, and they are seen to lead double lives. Its unsettling tone and supernatural features are consistent with horror films, but its campy, melodramatic portrayal of quirky characters engaged in dubious activities parodies of American soap operas. Like much of Lynch's work, the show represents an earnest moral inquiry distinguished by both offbeat humor and surrealism.

Ghettosocks

Darren Pyper, better known by his stage name Ghettosocks, is a Juno-nominatedCanadian hip hop artist and member of the Backburner collective.

In early 2010, Ghettosocks' album Treat of the Day spent several weeks at #1 on ChartAttack's Canadian Hip-Hop chart, and his single "Don't Turn Around" won Rap/Hip‐Hop Single Track Recording of the Year at the 2011 East Coast Music Awards.

Twin Peaks are a pair of mountain peaks in the Adobe Range of Elko County, in Nevada, United States. The East Twin is slightly higher than the West Twin. Both summits contains several radio towers.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is a 1992 French-American psychological horror film, directed by David Lynch and written by Lynch and Robert Engels.

It is a continuation of the short-lived television series Twin Peaks (1990–91), created by Lynch and Mark Frost, and revolves around the investigation into the murder of Teresa Banks (Pamela Gidley) and the last seven days in the life of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), a popular high school student in the fictional Washington town of Twin Peaks. Additionally, the film's narrative references and clarifies Agent Dale Cooper's (Kyle MacLachlan) fate in the series finale. Thus, while the film is often considered a prequel, it also has features more typical of a sequel.

Most of the television cast returned for the film, with the notable exceptions of Lara Flynn Boyle, who declined to return as Laura's best friend Donna Hayward (she was replaced by Moira Kelly), and Sherilyn Fenn, due to scheduling conflicts. Kyle MacLachlan, who starred as Special Agent Dale Cooper in the TV series, was reluctant to return out of fear of getting typecast, so his presence in the film is smaller than originally planned.

Joe Budden is the eponymous debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist Joe Budden, released on June 10, 2003 under Def Jam Recordings. The album's production was handled primarily by Whiteboyz Noize (Dub B and Elementary), along with Just Blaze and Lofey. The album features guest appearances from Lil' Mo, Busta Rhymes and 112. Upon the album's release, it was met with favorable reviews from music critics. The album debuted at number 8 on the US Billboard 200, selling around 97,000 units in its first week, which was less than expected, although, the album went on to sell 420,000+ copies. The album entered number 55 on the UK Albums Chart.

The album's release was supported by two singles – the Just Blaze-produced club anthems "Pump It Up" and "Fire (Yes Yes Y'all)" featuring Busta Rhymes, and two promotional singles – "Focus" and "Drop Drop". Its hit single "Pump It Up" was featured in 2 Fast 2 Furious, You Got Served and Madden NFL 2004, and reached #38 in the United States and #13 in the United Kingdom. "Focus" was featured in Def Jam Vendetta. The album's second single, "Fire", was released in 2003 and was featured in the movie Mean Girls. "Walk With Me" was featured as the ending song for Def Jam: Fight for NY. Budden was a playable character in both games.
