Twilight (NCIS)

"Twilight" is the 23rd and last episode in the second season, and the 46th overall episode, of the American crime drama television series NCIS. It first aired on CBS in the United States on May 24, 2005. The episode is written by John Kelley and directed by Thomas J. Wright, and was seen by 14.74 million viewers.

With Ari Haswari back in the country again and out to kill Gibbs, the team find themselves attempting to stop Ari from completing the task. In the meantime, they also try to find out who killed two off-duty sailors whose deaths might be linked to an upcoming terrorist attack and the theft of a drone from a company. But in the end, it might not be enough as NCIS find themselves paying a very high price for their efforts when one of their own is brutally murdered in Gibbs and Ari's battle with each other...

The episode also marks the final appearance of Special agent Kate Todd played by Sasha Alexander who is later replaced by Mossad Officer Ziva David played by Cote de Pablo. Todd is later shown in Season 8, episode "A Man Walks Into a Bar..." as a memory by the rest of the team, and in the Season 9 episode "Life Before His Eyes" as the wife of DiNozzo in an alternative universe in Gibbs' mind. Both of the episodes include scenes from this episode as flashbacks.

NCIS (season 13)

The thirteenth season of the American police procedural drama NCIS premiered on September 22, 2015, in the same time slot as in the previous seasons, Tuesdays at 8 pm.

NCIS revolves around a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which conducts criminal investigations involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The series was renewed for a thirteenth season by CBS on Monday, May 11, 2015.Michael Weatherly, who stars as Anthony DiNozzo on the show is set to depart the series after this season.

Production

The series was renewed for a thirteenth season by CBS on Monday, May 11, 2015. Production on the 13th season started in late July. On January 5, 2016, CBS announced Weatherly's departure from the series after thirteen seasons.Scottie Thompson returned as Jeanne Benoit, Tony's ex-girlfriend, in episode 8. She will return later on in the season.

Crossover with NCIS: New Orleans

Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, and Shalita Grant star in a crossover with NCIS: New Orleans, in the episode "Sister City (Part I)", as NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride, NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody, and Sonja Percy, respectively.

NCIS (season 2)

The second season of the police procedural drama NCIS was originally broadcast between September 28, 2004 and May 24, 2005 on CBS. This season shifts away from the naval setting of the show somewhat, and includes more character development than the first season.

With the episode "Lt. Jane Doe", the show also introduced the foofs, a black and white "preview" which was shown at the beginning of each act of that episode and has continued to be used to this day.

Season two had Norfolk Case Agent Timothy McGee being promoted to a full-time field agent, and transferring to NCIS HQ in Washington to work with the Major Case Response Team. Tony DiNozzo nearly died of the pneumonic plague in "SWAK" while the season finale, "Twilight", ended with a shocking and unexpected twist: Caitlin Todd was shot and killed by Ari Haswari.

The Twilight Saga (film series)

The Twilight Saga is a series of five romance fantasy films from Summit Entertainment based on the four novels by the American author Stephenie Meyer. The films star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. The series has grossed over $3.3 billion in worldwide receipts and consists, to date, of five motion pictures. The first installment, Twilight, was released on November 21, 2008. The second installment, New Moon, followed on November 20, 2009, breaking box office records as the biggest midnight screening and opening day in history, grossing an estimated $72.7 million. The third installment, Eclipse, was released on June 30, 2010, and was the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX.

The series was in development since 2004 at Paramount Pictures, during which time a screen adaptation of Twilight that differed significantly from the novel was written. Three years later, Summit Entertainment acquired the rights to the film. After Twilight grossed $35.7 million on its opening day, Summit Entertainment announced they would begin production on New Moon; they had acquired the rights to the remaining novels earlier that same month. A two-part adaptation of Breaking Dawn began shooting in November 2010 with November 18, 2011, and November 16, 2012, release dates.

Twilight is an American black metal supergroup formed in 2005 and originally commissioned by the Swedish underground label Total Holocaust Records. Members of the band are all a part of well known projects within the black metal genre or otherwise including Xasthur, Leviathan, Krieg, Isis, Nachtmystium and Sonic Youth.

Members of the group have included "Azentrius" (real name Blake Judd of Nachtmystium), "Hildolf" (real name Tim Lehi), "Imperial" (real name Neill Jameson), "Malefic" (real name Scott Conner) and "Wrest" (real name Jef Whitehead).

Biography

Although Twilight has so far released three albums and have not performed in public, they have been described as a "supergroup" of sorts on the American black metal underground. The band members have, namely, gained their recognition with such outfits as Draugar, Krieg, Leviathan, Nachtmystium and Xasthur. The first album was "recorded on four-track cassettes sent back and forth through the mail by the five members" and "captures the myriad sonic idiosyncrasies of the individual players, from Xasthur’s charred synth ambience and Leviathan’s expert d-drum patterns to Draugar’s cavernous vocals and Nachtmystium’s ruthless guitar torture".Metal Hammer journalist Gunnar Sauermann listed Twilight as an essential US black metal album.

Boy (album)

Boy is the debut album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Steve Lillywhite, and was released on 20 October 1980 on Island Records. Thematically, the album captures the thoughts and frustrations of adolescence. It contains many songs from the band's 40-song catalogue at the time, including two tracks that were re-recorded from their original versions on the band's debut release, the EP Three. Boy was recorded from March–September 1980 at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin; it was their first time at the studio, which became their chosen recording location during the 1980s. It was also their first time working with Lillywhite, who subsequently became a frequent producer for the band's recorded work.

Boy included U2's first hit single, "I Will Follow". The album's release was followed by the group's first tour of continental Europe and the United States, the Boy Tour. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. It peaked at number 52 in the UK and number 63 in the US. In 2008, a remastered edition of Boy was released.
