Alz
The Alz is a river in Bavaria, southern Germany, the only discharge of the Chiemsee. Its origin is on the northern shore near Seebruck. It is a right tributary of the Inn, into which it flows in Marktl. Other towns on the Alz are Altenmarkt an der Alz, Trostberg, Garching an der Alz and Burgkirchen an der Alz.
The Alz is divided into the Obere Alz (upper Alz) and the Untere Alz (lower Alz). The section from the Chiemsee up to Altenmarkt is called the Obere Alz. The section from Altenmarkt to the mouth in Marktl is called the Untere Alz.
The Traun, a 27km river flowing past the regional administrative center of Traunstein, is a tributary of the Alz.

History
Originally ALZip was developed in 1999 as an internal application at the South Korean software company ESTsoft in response to employee frustration with using the English interface in WinZip.
The Korean interface was immediately well received and later that year ALZip was publicly released as freeware. In just over a year ALZip became the most popular zip program in Korea and by December 2001 was the top downloaded software in the country. By 2004 it had reached a 70% market share in South Korea. The popularity of the software and the ALZ archive format played a large role in earning ESTsoft a place in the Digital Innovation Awards Top 100 Companies in South Korea with the software taking special mention.

Traun ( Pronunciation ) is a river in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. Its source is in the Totes Gebirge mountain range in Styria. It flows through the Salzkammergut area and the lakes Hallstätter See and Traunsee. The Traun is a right tributary of the Danube, which it meets near the City of Linz. Other towns along the river are Bad Aussee, Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Wels and Traun.
Any fly-fisher will enjoy fishing for the Traun's large grayling. The post office, the sports shop and small hotels in the nearby Hallstatt are a great source of information. This ancient lakeside village of some 950 residents has to be seen to be believed. Hallstatt is a World Heritage Site for its cultural heritage.
Until the late 19th century, it was only possible to reach Hallstatt by boat or via narrow trails. However this secluded and inhospitable landscape nevertheless counts as one of the first places of human settlement due to the rich sources of natural salt, which was mined for thousands of years, originally in the shape of hearts. Some of Hallstatt's oldest archaeological finds, such as a shoe-last celt - a long thin stone tool used to fell trees and to work wood - date back to around 5000 BC.
