The Nuggets - four separate islands off Cape Tourville, Tasmania

The Nuggets is a close group of four granite islets, with a combined area of 6.76 hectares (16.7 acres), in south-eastern Australia. It is part of the Schouten Island Group, lying close to the eastern coast of Tasmania near the Freycinet Peninsula.[1]

Fauna [link]

Recorded breeding seabird species are Little Penguin, Short-tailed Shearwater, Fairy Prion, Common Diving-Petrel, White-faced Storm-Petrel, Pacific Gull, Silver Gull, Black-faced Cormorant and Caspian Tern.[1]
