The Baba 30 was the smallest craft in the range but very popular, with some 170 having been built. They were built as sturdy vessels suitable for making long offshore and ocean passages needing only a couple of people to crew the boat. Although capable of sleeping 5 people they are generally sailed by couples. Most of these boats can be found in NW America but are also spread all around the worlds ports and anchorages
In 1977 Bob Berg, founder of Flying Dutchman International, commissioned Robert Perry to design a new small luxury cruising yacht for him. The result was the range of Babas. Production soon started in Taiwan in the yard of Ta Shing. This yard is still producing high quality motoryachts. The yachts were transported to Seattle in the USA, the home of Bob Berg. Many of the Babas produced still reside in the Puget Sound area. It is believed that the name of the boat came from the way the Taiwanese workers pronounced Bob Berg's name, Ba-Ba, which also means "father" in Chinese.
Kelly Key is the debut album by Brazilian recording pop artist Kelly Key, released on December 22, 2001 by Warner Music. The album brought ten fully copyright tracks, composed by Kelly in partnership with Andinho, Gustavo Lins and Rubens de Paula, plus a remix of "Escondido" as a bonus track. The tracks were produced by DJ Cuca and Sergio Mama, bringing the artistic production was created by Tom Capone and amixagem the Afegan producer directly from the recording studios in New York. Kelly Key brought a differential to join R&B and dance-pop to the mode used by international artists, a novelty in Brazil at that time, with the biggest inspirations the American singers Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Janet Jackson, beyond Brazil Luciana Mello and Fernanda Abreu. The album reached the top spot on the music charts in Brazil, selling a total of 500,000 copies and winning the platinum certificate.
The album received mostly positive reviews. Alex Antunes, Portal Dedo do Meio, said the work could address gender and feminism without using profanity and sounding more natural and less "virgin" that other Brazilian artists of pop romantic music, which meant that there was a greater identification of young people with his drive. The portal Contém Pop said the drive was well structured and significantly contributed to the construction and history of Brazilian music. Naiady Piva, the Portal Pop, compared to disk ...Baby One More Time Britney Spears work. Carlos Eduardo Lima, the Scream & Yell magazine, said the album broke the "prefabricated good mocismo hypocritical" in Brazilian music, portraying young people as something enclosed, being the opposite of double Sandy & Junior.
Hiroaki Sato (佐藤 弘明, Satō Hiroaki, born July 8, 1980) is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist, better known by the ring name Hikaru Sato (佐藤 光留, Satō Hikaru). Sato started his MMA career in February 2000, fighting for Pancrase Hybrid Wrestling. During the next eight years, Sato fought, on average, five times a year, compiling a record of 18 wins, 19 losses and four draws, which included fights against the likes of Keiichiro Yamamiya, Nathan Marquardt, Ryo Chonan and Yushin Okami. In May 2008, Sato transitioned into the world of professional wrestling, when he was signed by the Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) promotion. He has since had only seven MMA fights. In November 2010, Sato first became a triple crown trios champion with Michael Nakazawa and Tomomitsu Matsunaga and then also won DDT's top singles title, the KO-D Openweight Championship. Sato remained affiliated with DDT until January 2014. He is currently working for the All Japan Pro Wrestling promotion, where he is a former one-time All Asia Tag Team Champion alongside Hiroshi Yamato.
A top is a toy designed to be spun rapidly on the ground, the motion of which causes it to remain precisely balanced on its tip because of inertia. Such toys have existed since antiquity. Traditionally tops were constructed of wood, sometimes with an iron tip, and would be set in motion by aid of a string or rope coiled around its axis which, when pulled quickly, caused a rapid unwinding that would set the top in motion. Today they are often built of plastic, and modern materials and manufacturing processes allow tops to be constructed with such precise balance that they can be set in motion by a simple twist of the fingers and twirl of the wrist without need for string or rope.
The motion of a top is produced in the most simple forms by twirling the stem using the fingers. More sophisticated tops are spun by holding the axis firmly while pulling a string or twisting a stick or pushing an auger. In the kinds with an auger, an internal weight rotates, producing an overall circular motion. Some tops can be thrown, while firmly grasping a string that had been tightly wound around the stem, and the centrifugal force generated by the unwinding motion of the string will set them spinning upon touching ground.
A top is clothing that covers at least the chest, but which usually covers most of the upper human body between the neck and the waistline. The bottom of tops can be as short as mid-torso, or as long as mid-thigh. Men's tops are generally paired with pants, and women's with pants or skirts. Common types of tops are t-shirts, blouses and shirts.
The neckline is the highest line of the top, and may be as high as a head-covering hood, or as low as the waistline or bottom hem of the top. A top may be worn loose or tight around the bust or waist, and may have sleeves or shoulder straps, spaghetti straps (noodle straps), or may be strapless. The back may be covered or bare. Tops may have straps around the waist or neck, or over the shoulders.
In mathematics, the category of topological spaces, often denoted Top, is the category whose objects are topological spaces and whose morphisms are continuous maps or some other variant; for example, objects are often assumed to be compactly generated. This is a category because the composition of two continuous maps is again continuous. The study of Top and of properties of topological spaces using the techniques of category theory is known as categorical topology.
N.B. Some authors use the name Top for the category with topological manifolds as objects and continuous maps as morphisms.
Like many categories, the category Top is a concrete category (also known as a construct), meaning its objects are sets with additional structure (i.e. topologies) and its morphisms are functions preserving this structure. There is a natural forgetful functor
to the category of sets which assigns to each topological space the underlying set and to each continuous map the underlying function.
GunZ: The Duel (Korean: 건즈 온라인), also known simply as GunZ, was an online third-person shooting game, created by South Korean-based MAIET Entertainment and managed on an international gaming portal by ijji games until management shifted to the Aeria Games gaming portal in March 2012.
In the first week of May 2013 (1st on the forums 5th on the homepage), Aeria announced that the game would be cancelled on May 31, and that the forums would be deleted June 31. They would only refund AP purchased during those final 4 weeks. AP purchased in prior months/years used to build characters would not be refunded to players.
This closure happened 2 months following the announcement that GunZ 2 would be released for free in English on Steam.
It was free to play, with a microtransaction business model for purchasing premium in-game items. The game allowed players to perform exaggerated, gravity-defying action moves, including wall running, stunning, tumbling, and blocking bullets with swords, in the style of action movies and anime.
