Thomas Edward Lowe (born 21 August 1975 in Bexley, London) is a radio broadcaster in the United Kingdom. Tom currently presents on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
Tom started working for radio stations operating under a Restricted Service Licence, or RSL, including Thanet Local Radio (now KMFM Thanet), which was based in Ramsgate, Kent.
In 1998, Tom joined the team at European Klassik Rock, a Pan-European satellite radio station broadcasting via the Astra 1C satellite from The Maidstone Studios in Kent, and presented the Friday evening show. Tom then presented on Radio Caroline, also at the time on Astra 1C and from The Maidstone Studios, in 1999, with a Saturday evening show that was also simulcast on 88.4FM The Breeze to the French and Italian Rivieras. He also appeared on WBCQ in America under the Radio Caroline banner with a pre recorded programme in 2000.
In the summer of 2001, Tom was heard presenting on 107.7 WFM in Weston-super-Mare (now Star 107.7).
Tom joined Star 107.5 in Cheltenham, in 2001 (broadcasting then as 107.5 Cat FM), presenting the weekday drivetime show. In addition, he also presented the Saturday breakfast show. In late 2003, Tom briefly took over the mid morning show for a year but, in late 2004, he returned to the drivetime show. During this time Tom also presented a weekday evening show on Star 107.7 and various shows on Star 107.9.

Thomas Peter "Tom" Lowe (born 23 April 1978, Stockport, England) is an English-born singer and actor.
Tom Lowe was born in Stockport, England to his parents, Peter and Margaret Lowe. He grew up in the village of Mellor, on the outskirts of Stockport. He attended Mellor Primary School from 1982–1989 and Manchester Grammar School from 1989–1996, where he performed in many school plays. He sang in the church choir of St. Thomas's Mellor during his childhood and was runner up in the UK wide Choirboy of the Year competition while a chorister there. He also appeared on TV while at Primary school with fellow Mellor pupils on the children's show Umbrella, filmed at BBC Manchester. Tom is openly gay.
Lowe's had a stint as a Take That backing singer during their 1995 UK tour. He was part of the male voice choir, named 'The Wanted Men', who sang behind the group in the encore, and specifically during the Number One hit single at that time 'Never Forget'.
Tom Lowe is a writer and filmmaker from Southern California. A decorated Gulf War veteran, Lowe is best known as the author of Spin (ISBN 0-671-01923-6), a roman à clef based on his experience working as a political operative in California. He is also a former Chief Speech Writer for the Speaker of the California Assembly, and a former producer of the public affairs roundtable The McLaughlin Group.
During the summer of 2006, Lowe shot pre-production footage for a feature film called The Plan for his former production company, Digital Lions.The Plan is about an ex-CIA officer who comes to view religion as the greatest threat to humanity.
In November 2010, Lowe served as 2nd Unit Director and 2nd Unit Director of Photography on Godfrey Reggio's feature film "Visitors". Lowe is the founder and proprietor of the largest timelapse community on the internet, Timescapes.org. He shot a 45-minute non-narrative film entitled TimeScapes in the Southwestern United States.
