Danny Saucedo

Danny Saucedo (born Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski on 25 February 1986 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish singer and songwriter often presented just as Danny, who competed as one of the finalists in Idol 2006 — the Swedish version of Idol where he got to the top 6 before being eliminated.

Danny has released three music albums and eleven music singles as a solo artist. His debut album Heart Beats and the three singles "Tokyo", "Play It for the Girls" and "Radio" topped the Swedish charts. He was also simultaneously a member of Swedish pop trio E.M.D. with Erik Segerstedt and Mattias Andréasson, which was active between 2007–2010. The trio released three albums and eight singles (of which one album and four singles topped the Swedish charts). The band won a Grammis for Song of The Year 2008 with "Jennie Let Me Love You". He has competed in Melodifestivalen three times, every time as both artist and songwriter. In 2009 E.M.D. finished third with "Baby Goodbye", and as a solo artist he finished second in 2011 with "In the Club", and in 2012 second, this time with "Amazing".

Danny (footballer)

Daniel Miguel Alves Gomes (born 7 August 1983), known as Danny, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Russian club FC Zenit Saint Petersburg as an attacking midfielder.

He spent most of his career in Russia in service of Dynamo Moscow and Zenit, where he arrived at the age of 21 from Sporting.

Danny represented Portugal at the 2010 World Cup and the 2004 Olympics.

Born to Portuguese parents in Caracas, Venezuela, Danny moved to the island of Madeira at a young age. There, he developed his football skills in the youth teams of C.S. Marítimo, making his professional debut in a 2–1 league home win against Gil Vicente F.C. on 1 October 2001. A few months later he scored his first goal in a 1–2 loss at S.C. Salgueiros, also being sent off in the 60th minute; he finished his first season with five goals in 20 games.

Having signed to Sporting Clube de Portugal for €2.1 million after that sole season, Danny was immediately loaned back to Marítimo, returning in June 2004 and going on to appear in 12 official matches for the Lions.

Danny (1995 TV series)

Danny aka The Danny Bonaduce Show was a short lived talk show. Its only memorable episode was the first episode when he had his fellow cast members from The Partridge Family, as his guests.

Danny (film)

Danny is a 2014 National Film Board of Canada documentary film about former Newfoundland and Labrador premier Danny Williams, co-directed by Justin Simms and William D. MacGillivray, and produced by Annette Clarke.

The film took three years to produce, combining photos, archival footage, dramatic re-enactments and interviews with Williams, key staffers, his mother Teresita Galway Williams, and Newfoundland celebrities including Greg Malone. The film documents Williams' seven years as premier, including his clash with Prime Minister Stephen Harper over equalization payments and his subsequent Anything But Conservative campaign during the Canadian federal election. Danny also documents Williams' early years, which coincided with Newfoundland's entry into the Canadian Confederation, his career as a criminal lawyer as well as his success in business as the founder of Cable Atlantic, before entering politics. Williams also pokes fun at himself in the film, appearing in a Godfather parody with Newfoundland actor Gordon Pinsent.

Tokyo (Athlete song)

"Tokyo" is a song by English indie rock band Athlete and is the third track on their 2007 album Beyond the Neighbourhood. The song was released as the second single from that album on November 19, 2007 (see 2007 in British music). The song charted at #198 making it Athlete's lowest charting single to date, partly due to a lack of promotion, and partly due to UK Chart guidelines discounting sales of the EP version (thus only sales of the 7" were counted).
