To the Fore

To the Fore (traditional Chinese: 破風; simplified Chinese: 破风) is a 2015 Hong Kong-Chinesesports drama film directed by Dante Lam and starring Eddie Peng, Shawn Dou, Choi Siwon and Wang Luodan. The film was released on August 6, 2015 in Hong Kong and August 7, 2015 in China. The film was selected as the Hong Kong entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.

Plot

The story is about a very passionate cyclist, Chou Ming, starting his cycling career in a team called Radiant. There he met his friends. After some time, the team had to break up because the team doesn't have sufficient money to continue the team. The members were allocated to different teams. To the fore is a half love half sport movie. It is mainly about the passionate of the members riding bicycle to participate in races and a love affair between Chou Ming and a girl.

Fore!

Fore! is the fourth studio album by American rock band Huey Lewis and the News, released in 1986 (see 1986 in music). The album hit number one on the Billboard 200 album chart and contained five top-ten Billboard Hot 100 singles, including the number-one hits: "Stuck with You" and "Jacob's Ladder."

The wall that Lewis and the members of the band stand against on the album's cover is a wall from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. Band members Bill Gibson, Sean Hopper and Mario Cipollina went to this school together.

The album cover for Fore! is seen in the movie, American Psycho, starring Christian Bale. Bale's character, Patrick Bateman, goes on to have a nearly one-minute discussion regarding the band and how "Hip to Be Square" espouses "the pleasures of conformity."

Fore (golf)

"Fore!", originally an Australian interjection, is used to warn anyone standing or moving in the flight of a golf ball. The mention of the term in an 1881 Australian Golf Museum indicates that the term was in use at least as early as that period.

It is believed to come from the military "beware before", which an artilleryman about to fire would yell alerting nearby infantrymen to drop to the ground to avoid the shells overhead. (Before may mean "in front of (the gun being fired)"; fore may mean "(look) ahead".)

Other possible origins include the term being derived from the term "fore-caddy", a caddy waiting down range from the golfer to find where the ball lands. These caddies were often warned about oncoming golf balls by a shout of the term "fore-caddy" which was eventually shortened to just "fore!". The Colonel Bogey March is based on the descending minor third which the original Colonel Bogey whistled instead of yelling Fore around 1914.
