Hell (Disturbed song)

"Hell" is the first single by American rock band Disturbed from their first b-sides compilation album, The Lost Children.

The song was originally released as a b-side from their single "Stricken", off their third album Ten Thousand Fists. "Hell" was also released as a bonus track on the UK version of Ten Thousand Fists in 2005.

As a single in its own right, the song hit radio stations on October 11, 2011. Disturbed's frontman David Draiman stated on his Twitter page that there is no video shoot for the single. An audio-only recording is available on YouTube.

Naraka (Jainism)

Naraka (Sanskrit: नरक) is the name given to the realm of existence in Jain cosmology characterized by great suffering. Naraka is usually translated into English as "hell" or "purgatory". However, Naraka differs from the hells of Abrahamic religions as souls are not sent to Naraka as the result of a divine judgment and punishment. Furthermore, the length of a being's stay in a Naraka is not eternal, though it is usually very long—measured in billions of years. A soul is born into a Naraka as a direct result of his or her previous karma (actions of body, speech and mind), and resides there for a finite length of time until his karma has achieved its full result. After his karma is used up, he may be reborn in one of the higher worlds as the result of an earlier karma that had not yet ripened.

Northern AFC

Northern AFC is an association football club in North East Valley, Dunedin, New Zealand. They are currently competing in the ODT FootballSouth Premier League.

The club is based at The Gardens Ground, North East Valley, Dunedin. The undulating playing surface and overhanging trees ensure that every match at 'Fortress Gardens' is a tough encounter for the away side.

Club history

Established in 1888, the club claims to be the oldest in continual existence in New Zealand. They have twice won the Chatham Cup, in 1959 and 1961, and have been finalists on eight other occasions.

After amalgamating with Maori Hill (founded 1904) in 1972, the club was briefly known as Dunedin North End (1972–1974) and then as North End United, a name it used until 1990. The club celebrated its 125th Jubilee in 2013; as part of the celebrations, the NAFC Premier Men played Green Island in the first club football match to be held at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Northern's club strip is a vertical black and white striped shirt, black shorts and socks. The tangerine away strip is a real fan favourite.

Northern 300

The Northern 300 was a NASCAR Winston Cup Series stock car race held in 1958, 1959, and from 1967 to 1972 at Trenton Speedway in Trenton, New Jersey. The debut race in 1958 was 500 laps and 500 miles (804.7 km) in length, which was cut down to 150 laps, 150 miles (241.4 km) for 1959. The 1967 and 1968 races were both 300 laps, covering 300 miles (482.8 km). The track was lengthened from 1 mile to 1.5 miles for 1969, and the final four races were cut down from 300 to 200 laps, while still covering a 300-mile distance. A race in Trenton was on the 1973 schedule but was rained out after qualifying. NASCAR never rescheduled the race. A 1974 race was on the Winston Cup schedule before the season, but was replaced by the Purolator 500 at Pocono Raceway. Richard Petty was the only driver to win more than once at Trenton, winning three times.
