TNK-BP (Tyumenskaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya, Tyumen Oil Company) was a major vertically integrated Russian oil company headquartered in Moscow. It was Russia's third-largest oil producer and among the ten largest private oil companies in the world. In 2013 it was acquired by Russian oil company Rosneft.
DeGolyer and MacNaughton confirmed that as of 31 December 2009 TNK-BP's total proved reserves amounted to 11.667 billion barrels (1.8549×10^9 m3) of oil equivalent, applying PRMS (formerly SPE) criteria. Proved reserves constitute a total proved PRMS reserve replacement ratio of 329%.
On 1 September 2003, BP and a group of Russian businessmen, represented by the AAR (Alfa-Access-Renova) announced the creation of a strategic partnership to jointly hold their oil assets in Russia and Ukraine and creation of TNK-ВР. ААR contributed its holdings in TNK International, ONAKO, SIDANCO, RUSIA Petroleum (which held licenses for the Kovykta field and the Verkhnechonsk field), and the Rospan field in West Siberia (the New Urengoy and East Urengoy deposits). BP contributed its holding in SIDANCO, RUSIA Petroleum, and its BP Moscow retail network.
Activated CDC42 kinase 1, also known as ACK1, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TNK2 gene.
TNK2 gene encodes a non-receptor tyrosine kinase, ACK1, that binds to multiple receptor tyrosine kinases e.g. EGFR, MERTK, AXL, HER2 and insulin receptor (IR). ACK1 also interacts with Cdc42Hs in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42Hs. This binding is mediated by a unique sequence of 47 amino acids C-terminal to an SH3 domain. The protein may be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42Hs and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified from this gene, but the full-length nature of only two transcript variants has been determined.
ACK1 or TNK2 has been shown to interact with AKT, Androgen receptor or AR, a tumor suppressor WWOX,FYN and Grb2. ACK1 interaction with its substrates resulted in their phosphorylation at specific tyrosine residues. ACK1 has been shown to directly phosphorylate AKT at tyrosine 176, AR at Tyrosine 267 and 363, and WWOX at tyrosine 287 residues, respectively. Ack1-AR signaling has also been reported to regulate ATM levels,
TNK is a three letter acronym that may refer to:
TNK is a Turkish band from Ankara.
TNK was formed in Ankara in 2001 and first gained attention at the 2002 SingYourSong contest. In 2004, they won a jury award during a Fanta young talent search. In 2005, they released their first EP titled Sıra Bizde from which they released the song Elveda De as a video. TNK signed up with Pasaj Müzik in 2009 and worked for 11 months on a new album. The result was Söyle Ruhum which was released with the song of the same released as a music video.
In July 2010, they went on tour with Ceza and Şebnem Ferah playing in 16 cities to hundreds of thousands of people. In September, they released the song Dans Et as a music video. They contributed the song Yine Yazı Bekleriz to the soundtrack of the film Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak. They also performed the song Eylül Akşamı with Mehmet Günsür and Bülent Ortaçgil on the soundtrack . TNK collaborated with Nilüfer on the song Selam Söyle which appeared on her album 12 duet.
