"This Girl" is a song by Australian DJs and producers Stafford Brothers and Eva Simons featuring T.I.. It was released as a single in Australia on 27 June 2014 and globally on 12 August 2014.

The Stafford Brothers first leaked the collaboration via an exclusive private performance alongside Eva Simons in a Sydney warehouse in January 2014. Chris Stafford says "We knew it was shaping up to be a great track when we first heard Eva's vocals, we were thrilled when we heard from management that T.I. was into it and wanted to do a feature. Having such a huge superstar be a part of this is truly amazing and a huge honour."

The song peaked at number 9 on the Australian Dance Chart and number 58 on the overall Australian Singles Chart, and number 7 in Belgium dance bubbling under chart.

Reviews

Mike Wass of Idolator reviewed the song, saying; "“Give me wings, make me fly,” sings the Dutch dance queen over fluttery synths before arriving at the fast and furious chorus, which basically consists of her repeating: “do it one more time for this girl!” T.I shows up towards the end to rap about “making love in the Benz” but the real star is the manic production. After a seemingly endless string of folk-tinged EDM anthems, it’s a relief to hear a balls-to-the-wall club banger."

Impossible Princess

Impossible Princess (retitled Kylie Minogue in the UK and Europe) is the sixth studio album by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue, released on 22 October 1997. Because the A&R department of her label, Deconstruction Records, were not present throughout the majority of the album's production process, song writing and production were primarily handled by Minogue, in collaboration with producers Dave Ball, Ingo Vauk, Brothers in Rhythm, Manic Street Preachers and Rob Dougan.

Minogue started work on the album in October 1995 when she returned from her trips with French photographer and her then-boyfriend Stéphane Sednaoui. A release with a mixture of different musical genres and styles, the album features several songs employing themes of self-reflection, relationships and insecurities. The album cover was photographed by Sednaoui and the album title was derived from the book Poems to Break the Harts of Impossible Princesses (1994) by Billy Childish and from a lyric in the song "Dreams". The tracks "Some Kind of Bliss", "Did It Again", "Breathe" and "Cowboy Style" served as the album's official singles, while the other songs from the album served as promotional singles in Australia and New Zealand.

Synopsis

Jane (Kathryn Bernardo), a die-hard fan, wants to win tickets to Billy Fernandez's (Daniel Padilla) concert. In search for this answer she meets different people with different love stories: a 40-year-old virgin named Virginia (Pokwang) who meets a gigolo named Charles (Sam Milby); a hopeless romantic secretary, Barbara (Maja Salvador) who is helping her boss, Ken (Diether Ocampo) with "personal issues"; Belle (Bea Alonzo) who is in love with her gay best-friend, Butch (Zanjoe Marudo), an advertising executive; Verna (Angelica Panganiban) who falls in love with Jane's older brother, Elvis (John Lloyd Cruz), a waiter in Vietnam; Jomar (Zaijan Jaranilla) an orphan who is trying to court Ayie (Xyriel Manabat) with the help of a 35-year-old mentally-challenged man named Pipoy (Piolo Pascual); Patty (Kim Chiu) who traces her first love, Alvin (Gerald Anderson) to become an underwear model for her company.

This Girl's in Love

This Girl's in Love is the sixth album by Australian singer-songwriter Gyan that was released on October 26, 2015. The album consists of cover versions of songs by John Lennon, Neil Young, Kate Bush and Tom Waits as well as a re-recording of her own 1989 hit single, 'Wait'.

The album was a result of a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised over $25,000 to make the record.

Critical reaction

The album was reviewed by Noel Mengel of news.com.au who wrote that "Gyan is in sparklingly good voice and the understated small orchestra arrangements she uses frequently here are ravishing". Mendel described Gyan as an "underrated Australian talent"
