Tiruttani is a town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 84 kilometres (52 miles) from Chennai, 44 kilometres (27 miles) from Kanchipuram, 65 kilometres (40 miles) from Tirupathi, 160 kilometres (99 miles) from Thiruvannamalai, 14 kilometres (8.7 miles) from Arakkonam and 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) from the state of Andhra Pradesh. As of 2011, the town had a population of 44,781.

Tiruttani has good transport links to the nearest cities, towns and villages. Its bus depot contains a total of 79 buses, including 42 operating in rural areas. During the festival season, additional buses are operated in order to keep up with the increased demand. The state of Tamil Nadu operates frequent buses to locations including Chennai, Salem, Bangalore, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Arakkonam, Chittoor, Chengalpet, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Pothatturpettai, Pallipattu and Tirupati. Southern Railway also operates frequent passenger services to and from Chennai.
