Tyla (born Timothy Taylor) is an English rock musician, best known for his work with The Dogs D'Amour as well as an extensive solo catalogue. As well as performing vocals, guitars and other instruments, he also illustrates the album covers in his own recognisable style.
In 1982 Tyla was serving as guitarist for the band Bordello Boys. When vocalist Ned Christie joined the band he brought with him a change of name, which was the beginning of The Dogs D'Amour. On the back of the second of two recording sessions, The Dogs D'Amour were signed to Kumibeat Records in Finland.
The recording and release of The State We're' In was problematic. Ned Christie left the band prior to the recording, resulting in Tyla adopting the role of both guitars and vocals. Additionally, the production encountered a number of issues, most notably the album producer remixing everything to add synths, against the band's wishes. The album was released on vinyl in Finland but Kumibeat Records folded shortly after. The Kumibeat mix has never been released on CD or in any format outside of Finland. A cassette-sourced copy of the original mix has since been released, although has been criticised for its sound quality.
When Bratz was originally released in 2001, there were only 4 characters: Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, and Jade. These four were produced in the majority of Bratz lines and are the main characters of the Bratz. In 2015, a new character, Raya, was introduced as the fifth main character. Over 10 years after the debut of the Bratz, over 100 characters were added to the Bratz world.
A list of past and current Bratz characters:
Main Characters
Cries from the aisles
the tolling of the judgement bell
Eyes watched the violence
the absence of those who have
seen, marks the faith of the spell
Cold is the viper
stalking the night for the heat
It must find
Time is the promise
delivered with stunning consistency
line after line, time after time
the innocent victim awaits...
Please take my hand
Don't be afraid
I am your master
You are my slave
Voices are calling me back
Back to the day
Footsteps had followed
Me faster... listen
Screams from a new love
the passion was burning, it singed in a stare
Free under the night sun
The fear of the hunger will always be there in my mind
Time after time the morning will close a new page
Please take my hand
Don't be afraid
I am your master
You are my slave
Follow the impulse you have
I'll show you the way
Forget what you've learned in the past now
