The TEN Tenors (also known as TTT or 'The TEN') is an Australian music ensemble that has toured world-wide since its formation in 1995. The group is renowned for their reimagining of modern-day classics by artists such as Queen, Meat Loaf; AC/DC, Aerosmith, Leonard Cohen and much more. They are also known to perform operatic arias, native Australian tunes (including I Still Call Australia Home) and most recently, the hits of Broadway.
The Ten Tenors double CD (one live and one studio recorded) “Larger Than Life” CD was recorded in Australia and Germany and released in 2004 Europe and USA, with some of these tracks being released in Australia under the title “Tenology (The Best So Far)”. Andy Arthurs and Richard Vella were the recording co-producers. Some of these tracks drew on traditional opera repertoire, but many were reinvented for a broader non-opera going audience. Their 2006 album Here's To The Heroes was heavily influenced by the music of John Barry.
Nowadays, the group has evolved into a rock-opera touring group, pushing the boundaries of the classical genre and the definition of a tenor. Their latest album "Double Platinum", which was mainly produced and arranged by Dr Steven Baker, is a double album featuring classical songs on one disc and contemporary songs on the other and features the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. It debuted at #7 on the mainstream charts in New Zealand.
The Ten is a 2007 American comedy film, directed by David Wain and cowritten by Wain and Ken Marino, released through ThinkFilm. The film was released on August 3, 2007. The DVD was released on January 15, 2008.
Ten stories, each inspired by one of the Ten Commandments:
A guy (Adam Brody) becomes a celebrity after falling out of a plane and becoming permanently embedded in the ground thanks to superstar agent (Ron Silver). After a swift rise to stardom, he becomes prideful and arrogant, referring to himself as a god. His career falls apart and he loses everything. His fiancée (Winona Ryder) leaves him for a TV anchor man.
A librarian (Gretchen Mol) has a sexual awakening in Mexico with a swarthy local (Justin Theroux) who turns out to be Jesus Christ. She eventually settles down and marries her coworker (A. D. Miles), but is secretly reminded of her fling with Jesus whenever her family prays before a meal.
A doctor (Ken Marino) kills his patient by leaving a pair of scissors inside her abdomen during surgery. Despite expecting the charges to be dropped because he left the scissors in "as a goof", the judge and jury sentence him to life in prison. The judge also disbars the plaintiff's lawyer, who is then told that he should consider a job as a tour guide at the local nuclear plant.

You are my heart’s delight,
And where you are, I long to be
You make my darkness bright,
When like a star you shine on me
Shine, then, my whole life through
Your life divine bids me hope anew
That dreams of mine may at last come true
And I shall hear you whisper, “I love you”.
In dreams when night is falling
I seem to hear you calling
For you have cast a net around me
And ‘neath a magic spell hath bound me
Yours, yours alone
A wondrous air is your beautiful hair
Bright as a summer sky is the night in your eyes
Soft as a sparkling star is the warmth of my love
You are my heart’s delight,
And where you are, I long to be
You make my darkness bright,
When like a star you shine on me
Shine, then, my whole life through
Your life divine bids me hope anew
That dreams of mine may at last come true
