The Table

The Table, sometimes called Table Mountain, is a 2,021-metre (6,631 ft) high flow-dominated andesite tuya located 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Garibaldi Lake, 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Cheekye and 5 kilometres (3 mi) north of Mount Garibaldi, British Columbia, Canada. It rises over 530 metres (1,740 ft) above the surface of Garibaldi Lake, which lies less than 1 kilometre (1 mi) to the north.

The Table is almost impossible to climb because sections of the volcano have collapsed, creating steep and exceptionally rotten rock walls on all sides.

Geology

The Table is part of the Garibaldi Lake volcanic field, a volcanic field that includes a group of nine small andesitic stratovolcanoes and basaltic andesite vents formed during the early Holocene. This in turn is part of the Garibaldi Volcanic Belt and of the Cascade Volcanic Arc that run from southwestern British Columbia to northern California caused by subduction of the Juan de Fuca Plate and Explorer Plate under the North American Plate at the Cascadia subduction zone.

The Table (restaurant)

The Table is a restaurant at Colaba, Mumbai, India, known for serving San Francisco style globally inspired cuisine. It was established by Jay Yousuf and Gauri Devidayal in early 2011.

History

The Table, was established by Jay Yousuf and Gauri Devidayal in early 2011, located around the corner from the famous Taj Hotel in Colaba. They teamed up with the San Francisco Bay area's consultant chef Joey Altman and executive chef Alex Sanchez. Chef Alex aims to procure ingredients from local sources, he does also use some imported products. In 2014, The Timeout Mumbai awarded The Table restaurant as the best restaurant in India.

Cuisine and Decor

The Table serves global cuisine which ranges from American, Japanese, Italian, French, Chinese and Thai. The Table's menu changes almost every day. The Signature Boneless Chicken Wings, The Table Burger and Zucchini Spaghetti are the most requested items at The Table.

The trade mark of The Table is the 20-foot long Burma teak community dining table placed near the bar. The owners worked closely with architect Tarik Currimbhoy who helped design The Table.

The Table (punk band)

The Table were a punk rock band from Cardiff, Wales, best known for their 1977 single "Do The Standing Still (Classics Illustrated)".

They consisted of Russell Young (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass), Tony Barnes (guitars, bass), Len Lewis (drums) and Mickey O'Connor (guitars). Young and Barnes had been performing together since 1971 in the band John Stabber, and formed Do You Want This Table (later shortened to The Table) in 1972. However, they did not own any instruments, refused to tour, and stated that they were not a "real" band and had no future in the music industry. Despite this, they were signed to Virgin Records and released "Do The Standing Still (Classics Illustrated)", first recorded as a demo in 1975. The record became an NME 'Single Of The Week', rapidly became a cult favourite, and subsequently appeared on several punk compilation albums.

Record label pressure saw them reluctantly become a well received live act. However, their uncompromising stance led to disagreements with Virgin, and they left, signing to Chiswick Records in 1978 and releasing a second single, "Sex Cells". The band ceased to exist after several line-up changes and a policy of playing increasingly uncommercial and distasteful material. Young's later band, Flying Colours, released a single, "Abstract Art", on No Records in 1981.

HTML element

An HTML element is an individual component of an HTML document or web page, once this has been parsed into the Document Object Model. HTML is composed of a tree of HTML elements and other nodes, such as text nodes. Each element can have HTML attributes specified. Elements can also have content, including other elements and text. Many HTML elements represent semantics, or meaning. For example, the title element represents the title of the document.

In the HTML syntax, most elements are written with a start tag and an end tag, with the content in between. An HTML tag is composed of the name of the element, surrounded by angle brackets. An end tag also has a slash after the opening angle bracket, to distinguish it from the start tag. For example, a paragraph, which is represented by the p element, would be written as

However, not all of these elements require the end tag, or even the start tag, to be present. Some elements, the so-called void elements, do not have an end tag. A typical example is the br element, which represents a significant line break, such as in a poem or an address.
