The Shys
The Shys are a five piece rock band from Southern California, Their current line-up consists of Kyle Krone, Chris Wulff, Riley Stephenson, and Ryan Hansen. Their debut CD, titled Astoria, was released on Sire Records on July 11, 2006. The bands reputation for their high energy captivating live performances has won them fans all across North America and the UK. The band have recently toured and played in support of Delta Spirit, Albert Hammond Jr. and Hot Hot Heat
Progression
The Shys' new album "You'll Never Understand This Band The Way That I Do" was released on July 22, 2008, on local Echo Park Indie label Aeronaut Records. The album was praised by notable underground tastemakers such as NPR, XMU Radio, UR Chicago, and many others. The American Indie Bloggers also has declared the new album a winner. “4 out of 5 Stars.
