One, two, three, four
If I raise my hands
Would save me? Or would you shoot me?
I don't know just what I want
Hope it's over quickly and I don't feel a thing
'Cause I've been terrified
By these crashing waves
I've been paralyzed
By the sight of the sand
Drowning in the shallows
I've been drowning in the shallows
Well if you see me on the surface
Push me under and hold me down
So you're sure I've changed
Well I've been so scared of feeling bad
I don't feel anything in all these days
These days I've been terrified
By the sight of your face
I've been paralyzed
By the touch of your hand
Drowning in the shallows
I've been drowning in the shallows, in the shallows
I jumped in the water 'cause the ground was killing me
But the deep blue sea just drag me down
I turned and head back through there
But I got scared at the sight of the sand
Now I'm treading water I'm starting to drown
In the shallows
Drown in the shallows
Wondered where I failed
