RedeTV! is a Brazilian television network, owned by Amilcare Dallevo and Marcelo de Carvalho. RedeTV! has modern production plants, located in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Recife and Fortaleza. RedeTV! is headquartered in the CTD - Centro de Televisão Digital (Digital Television Center, in English), located in Osasco (SP), where its news division is based. It is the newest television network, among the five major networks in Brazil, being a relaunch of Rede Manchete in 1999. It was the first network worldwide to be broadcast in 3D.

History

Formed in 1999 using part of Rede Manchete structure. RedeTV! started its transmissions on November 15, 1999.

Its principal shows are Pânico na TV, the second most famous humour program in Brazil, Superpop, an entertainment program and TV Fama, a program about celebrities. It was responsible for the Brazilian version of Desperate Housewives, Donas de Casa Desesperadas, series exhibited in 2007. The TV programming is directed mostly to the entertainment, with comedy, talk shows, soap operas, audience shows, journalism, sports, TV series and feminine showbizz.

The Morning Show (TV program)

The Morning Show is an Australian morning talk show on the Seven Network. The show is presented by Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur and airs between 9:15am and 11:30am on weekdays and follows Seven's breakfast news program Sunrise, with both programs closely interlinked, the program features infotainment, celebrity interviews and live music performances. On weekends, a highlights show is aired between 10am and 11am on Saturdays and Sundays featuring segments from the week.

History

The show premiered on the Seven Network on 18 June 2007 and originally aired between 9am and 11:00am on weekdays. Adam Boland was the original executive producer of the show and promised to deliver a mix of news and views, new music and regular segments covering health and fitness, astrology, celebrity gossip, cooking, counselling and fashion. Boland built the show on the success of Sunrise which he also produced.

The debut episode averaged 272,000 viewers, beating both 9am with David and Kim (147,000) and Mornings with Kerri Anne (126,000). Since its launch in June 2007 the show has rated first nearly every week against the Nine Network and Network Ten.

The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet

The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet was an American syndicated morning talk show. Produced by Fox, the show first aired on January 22, 2007 to a number of markets originally through Fox and MyNetworkTV, most in the Fox Television Stations Group. Hosted by Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, the program consisted of celebrity interviews, audience participation, and segments relating to viewers. The last live show aired on June 12, 2009, with reruns continuing through until September 2009.

Overview

Jerrick and Huddy had hosted other news shows in the past, notably DaySide and Fox & Friends Weekend, a weekend morning show, both on the Fox News Channel.

In February 2007, the show was syndicated to many ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates where a MyNetworkTV or Fox station didn't carry it.

Ratings and cancellation

On January 8, 2009, Bob Cook, president and CEO of Twentieth, announced The Morning Show was cancelled, with new episodes continuing to air until June and reruns following until September.

Juliet

Juliet Capulet is the female protagonist and one of two title characters in William Shakespeare's romantic love tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is the only daughter of Capulet, the patriarch of the Capulet family. The story has a long history that precedes Shakespeare himself.

Relationships

The play takes place over a time span of four days. Within these few days, Juliet is thrust into adulthood quickly—where she must deal with issues of life, romance, love, passion, and even death. During the play she is courted by a potential husband (Count Paris), strongly falls romantically in love with another (Romeo), marries Romeo secretly, experiences the death of her first cousin Tybalt, has one brief passionate, romantic night with her new husband before he is forced to leave the city, is threatened by her father and nearly disowned by both of her parents for refusing to marry the man they have chosen for her, she is let down emotionally by the nurse who raised her from infancy, spends nearly two days drugged to unconsciousness, is widowed, and ultimately commits suicide near the body of her dead husband.

Nebiolo Printech

Nebiolo Printech S.p.A. is a manufacturer of printing presses and paper and formerly a type foundry. Nebiolo & Co. was created when Giovanni Nebiolo bought out the type foundry of G. Narizzano in Turin, Italy, in 1852. In 1908 the company merged with the Urania Company and operated under the name Augustea and began to buy out many smaller foundries. In 1916 it was again renamed Società Nebiolo. Fiat bought the press manufacturing business in 1978, turning the type business over to Italiana Caratteri. In 1992 it became Nebiolo Printech S.p.A. and continues to manufacture presses under that name today.

Type Foundry

Nebiolo created a large library of typefaces, which remain popular today, although the company never entered photocomposition. It also built a type caster that competed with the Ludlow Typograph. Nebiolo types were distributed in the United States by Continental Type Founders Association. The designer Aldo Novarese became art director in 1952. The matrices for Nebiolo types are still being used by Schriften-Service D. Stempel GmbH.

Juliet (Lawson song)

"Juliet" is the sixth single by British pop rock band Lawson. The single was released as the second single from the re-issue of their debut studio album, Chapman Square (2012). The song was released on 11 October 2013, via Polydor Records. It debuted and peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart, tying with "Taking Over Me" as their highest charting single to date.
