The Matrix Revolutions

The Matrix Revolutions is a 2003 American–Australian science fiction action film and the third installment of the Matrix trilogy. The film was released six months following The Matrix Reloaded. The film was written and directed by The Wachowskis and released simultaneously in 60 countries on November 5, 2003. While it is the final film in the series, the Matrix storyline is continued in The Matrix Online. The film was the second live-action film to be released in both regular and IMAX theaters at the same time.

Plot

Neo and Bane lie unconscious in the medical bay of the ship Hammer. Meanwhile, Neo finds his digital self trapped in a virtual subway station—named, "Mobil Ave.", "mobil", being an anagram for "limbo"—a transition zone between the Matrix and the Machine City. In that subway station, he meets a "family" of programs, including a girl named Sati, whose father tells Neo the subway is controlled by the Trainman, an exiled program loyal to the Merovingian. When Neo tries to board a train with the family, the Trainman refuses and overpowers him.

The Matrix Reloaded

The Matrix Reloaded is a 2003 American-Australian science fiction action film, the first sequel to The Matrix, and the second installment in The Matrix trilogy, written and directed by The Wachowski Brothers. It premiered on May 7, 2003, in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, and went on general release by Warner Bros. in North American theaters on May 15, 2003, and around the world during the latter half of that month. It was also screened out of competition at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. The video game Enter the Matrix, which was released on May 15, and a collection of nine animated shorts, The Animatrix, which was released on June 3, supported and expanded the storyline of the film. The Matrix Revolutions, which completes the story, was released six months after Reloaded, in November 2003.

Plot

Six months after the events of the first film, Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) are now lovers. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) receives a message from Captain Niobe (Jada Pinkett Smith) of the Logos calling an emergency meeting of all of Zion's ships. Zion has confirmed the last transmission of the Osiris: an army of Sentinels is tunneling towards Zion and will reach it within 72 hours. Commander Lock (Harry Lennix) orders all ships to return to Zion to prepare for the onslaught, but Morpheus asks one ship to remain in order to contact the Oracle (Gloria Foster). The Caduceus receives a message from the Oracle, and the Nebuchadnezzar ventures out so Neo can contact her. One of the Caduceus crew, Bane (Ian Bliss), encounters Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving), who takes over Bane's avatar. Smith then uses this avatar to leave the Matrix, gaining control of Bane's real body.

The Matrix (The Matrix album)

The Matrix is the self-titled debut album by the production group The Matrix, released on iTunes on January 27, 2009 through iTunes as well as on audio CD. The album featured music written and produced by the group with vocals by Katy Perry and British singer Adam Longlands.

Album information

The album was recorded in 2004, when Katy Perry was 20 years old. In the October 2004 issue of Blender Magazine, they named Perry "The Next Big Thing!" The Matrix worked with the vocalist who contributed to the writing of the music and the lyrics for the songs. Despite the buzz about the album, The Matrix decided to cancel the album weeks before the album's due date. "Broken" was set to be its first single. In 2009, after the success of Perry's debut solo album One of the Boys, The Matrix decided to release the album under their own record label, Let's Hear It Records.

With lyrical differences, "Broken" had previously been recorded in 2003, under the title "What Do You Do?", by Matrix produced sister act, The Troys. It was released in 2003 on Elektra as a promo single for an album that was eventually shelved, but was also included in the compilation album, The Powerpuff Girls: Power Pop. Sara Paxton recorded "Take a Walk" in 2005 for the Darcy's Wild Life soundtrack. In 2006, "Live Before I Die", appeared on a bonus track version of Ashley Parker Angel's debut album Soundtrack to Your Life. Ashley re-wrote the majority of the song. In 2007, a song from Skye Sweetnam's Sound Soldier album, titled "Boyhunter", which was produced by The Matrix surfaced. The song uses a slightly altered version of the music from the track "Damn". Ashley Tisdale re-recorded "Love Is a Train" for her second album, Guilty Pleasure, which was released as "Time's Up", a bonus track on the album. The Matrix has since then been removed from the iTunes Store for reasons unknown.

Sæbø (municipality)

Sæbø is a former municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. The 27-square-kilometre (10 sq mi) municipality existed from 1924 until 1964. It occupied the southern part of the island of Radøy, as well as some small areas on the Lindås peninsula and on the island of Holsnøy. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Sæbø, where Sæbø Church is located.

History

The municipality of Sæbø was created on 1 July 1924 when the old municipality of Manger was split into Hordabø, Manger, and Sæbø. Initially, Sæbø had a population of 1,125. On 1 January 1964, the Titland farm area (population: 40) on the Lindås peninsula was transferred to the neighboring Lindås municipality and an uninhabited area of Sæbø on the island of Holsnøy became a part of the neighboring municipality of Meland. The rest of Sæbø, with 916 inhabitants, was merged with the municipalities of Hordabø, Manger, and parts of Lindås, Herdla, and Austrheim to form the new municipality of Radøy.

Schmidt & Bender (often abbreviated as S&B) is a German company specialized in producing high end telescopic sights for hunting, sports, law enforcement and military arms.

The company was founded in 1957 by instrument maker Helmut Schmidt and master instrument maker Helmut Bender. The company started with producing telescopic sights for large German (mail order) hunting equipment sales chains under various brand names and gradually started to produce telescopic sights under their own brand name. Currently (2008) the company is still a family enterprise.

Much of the assembly process is done by hand, which is why the company can only turn out a limited number of scopes annually.

Schmidt & Bender is an ISO 9001 certified company. This implies all research, development, production and assembly is monitored by an independent agency.

Schmidt & Bender Hungaria Optik

In 1992 Schmidt & Bender Hungaria Optik GmbH in Budapest, Hungary was founded as an independent company by Schmidt & Bender GmbH & Co. KG, Biebertal, Germany. The process of privatisation in Hungary made it possible for Schmidt & Bender to buy the production of precision optics and fibre optics from the government-owned enterprise of the Hungarian Opticai Works (MOM). Schmidt & Bender bought Hungarian Opticai Works since this company produced and still produces the optical components Schmidt & Bender uses in their rifle scopes. In 2008 Schmidt & Bender Hungaria Optik employed 80 people.
